Abstract

Various embodiments are related to receiving, by a system and from a user interface associated with an application, provided by the system and executing on a computing device of a user, an input for configuring early payment of at least a percentage of earned pay of the user; and initiating, by the system, an electronic transfer of a payment for at least the percentage of the earned pay of the user to an account of the user, wherein the electronic transfer occurs prior to a scheduled paycheck for the earned pay.

Claims (41)

1. A system comprising:

one or more processors; and

one or more computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to perform acts comprising:

receiving, by the system and from a user interface associated with an application, provided by the system and executing on a computing device of a user, an input for configuring early payment of at least a percentage of earned pay of the user; and

initiating, by the system, an electronic transfer of a payment for at least the percentage of the earned pay of the user to an account of the user, wherein the electronic transfer occurs prior to a scheduled paycheck for the earned pay.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on historical payroll payments to the user.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on one or more sales associated with the user.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on a commission associated with the one or more sales.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the electronic transfer of the payment is disbursed based at least in part on terms of a payroll advance.

6. A method implemented by at least one computing device of a service provider, comprising:

receiving, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and from a user interface associated with an application, provided by the service provider and executing on a computing device of a user, a request for early payment of at least a percentage of earned pay of the user; and

initiating, by the at least one computing device of the service provider, an electronic transfer of a payment for at least the percentage of the earned pay of the user to an account of the user, wherein the electronic transfer occurs prior to a scheduled paycheck for the earned pay.

7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising and prior to the electronic transfer:

receiving, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and from at least one employer of the user, a payroll history of the user; and

determining, by the at least one computing device of the service provider, to approve the electronic transfer based at least in part on the payroll history,

wherein initiating the electronic transfer is responsive at least in part to approving the electronic transfer.

8. The method of claim 6 , further comprising and prior to the electronic transfer:

receiving, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and from at least one employer of the user, a sales history of the user; and

determining, by the at least one computing device of the service provider, to approve the electronic transfer of payment based at least in part on the sales history,

wherein initiating the electronic transfer is responsive at least in part to approving the electronic transfer.

9. The method of claim 6 , wherein the electronic transfer of the payment comprises a first electronic transfer of the payment, the method further comprising:

initiating, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and after the first electronic transfer, a second electronic transfer to the account of the user, wherein the second electronic transfer comprises an amount of the scheduled paycheck less the amount of the first electronic transfer.

10. The method of claim 6 , wherein the electronic transfer is disbursed on the same day as the request for early payment.

11. The method of claim 6 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on a sale associated with the user.

12. The method of claim 6 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on one or more sales associated with the user.

13. The method of claim 6 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on a history of daily earnings of the user.

14. The method of claim 6 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on a shift associated with the user.

15. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media maintaining instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, program the one or more processors to:

receive, by at least one computing device of a service provider and from a user interface associated with an application, provided by the service provider and executing on a computing device of a user, an input for enabling early payment of at least a percentage of earned pay of the user; and

initiate, by the at least one computing device of the service provider, an electronic transfer of a payment for at least the percentage of the earned pay of the user to an account of the user, wherein the electronic transfer occurs prior to a scheduled paycheck for the earned pay.

16. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on historical payroll payments to the user.

17. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on sales completed during a shift of the user.

18. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , further comprising and prior to the electronic transfer:

receiving, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and from at least one employer of the user, a payroll history of the user; and

determining, by at least one computing device of the service provider, to approve the electronic transfer based at least in part on the payroll history,

wherein initiating the electronic transfer is responsive at least in part to approving the electronic transfer.

19. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , further comprising and prior to the electronic transfer:

receiving, by the at least one computing device of the service provider and from at least one employer of the user, a sales history of the user; and

determining, by the at least one computing device of the service provider, to approve the electronic transfer based at least in part on the sales history,

wherein initiating the electronic transfer is responsive at least in part to approving the electronic transfer.

20. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein the percentage of earned pay is based at least in part on a commission associated with a sale associated with the user.
