Portable climbing net
A collapsible portable climbing net, featuring a left and right lateral pole, each comprising separable or connectable segments. The top pole connects the upper segments of the lateral poles, while the bottom pole connects the lower segments. A net is secured between the lateral poles and the top and bottom poles. The design allows for folding the lateral poles for compact storage, passing the poles through collars for easy assembly, and includes additional segments connected by connectors. The top and bottom poles are pivotally connected, enabling the net to be folded compactly.
1 . A collapsible portable climbing net comprising:
a left lateral pole comprising a first lateral pole and a second lateral pole, the first lateral pole and the second lateral pole being separable from each other;
a right lateral pole comprising a third lateral pole and a fourth lateral pole, the third lateral pole and the fourth lateral pole being separable from each other;
a top pole comprising a first collar and a second collar;
a bottom pole comprising a third collar and a fourth collar; and
a net secured between the left lateral pole and the right lateral pole and between the top pole and the bottom pole,
wherein the first lateral pole is configured to pass through the first collar, and the third lateral pole is configured to pass through the second collar,
wherein the second lateral pole is configured to pass through the third collar, and the fourth lateral pole is configured to pass through the fourth collar,
wherein the first lateral pole comprises a first stop collar having a size that prevents the first collar from passing over the first stop collar to thereby prevent the top pole from sliding down along the first lateral pole when assembled,
wherein the third lateral pole comprises a second stop collar having a size that prevents the second collar from passing over the second stop collar to thereby prevent the top pole from sliding down along the third lateral pole when assembled, and
wherein the top pole further comprises a bracket configured to attach the collapsible portable climbing net to an object, wherein the bracket is positioned between the first collar and the second collar.
2 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein the net comprises at least one lateral loop that is configured to be passed through by at least one of the first lateral pole, the second lateral pole, the third lateral pole, and the fourth lateral pole.
3 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein the net comprises at least one longitudinal loop that is configured to be passed through by at least one of the top pole and the bottom pole.

The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first collar, the second collar, the third collar, and the fourth collar comprises a screw configured to further secure connection with the left lateral pole or the right lateral pole, wherein the screw is configured to inhibit relative movement between the at least one collar and the corresponding lateral pole while the net is tensioned.
5 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 4 , wherein the screw comprises a knob.
6 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , further comprising a connector between the first lateral pole and the second lateral pole.
7 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 6 , wherein the connector is a pin or a hinge.
8 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , further comprising a connector between the third lateral pole and the fourth lateral pole.
9 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 8 , wherein the connector is a pin or a hinge.
10 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein the top pole further comprises more than one bracket configured to attach the collapsible portable climbing net to a surface, and wherein the net comprises at least one longitudinal loop that is configured to be passed through by at least one of the top pole and the bottom pole and be positioned between the one or more brackets.
11 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein the first lateral pole and the third lateral poles, respectively, comprises a bracket configured to attach the collapsible portable climbing net to an object.
12 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , further comprising a left foot pole coupled proximate a lower end of the left lateral pole and a right foot pole coupled proximate a lower end of the right lateral pole.
13 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 12 , wherein each of the left foot pole and the right foot pole is pivotable or rotatable.
14 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 12 , wherein each of the left foot pole and the right foot pole is height-adjustable.
15 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 12 , wherein each of the left foot pole and the right foot pole terminates in a foot having a base configured to engage a supporting surface.
16 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein the net comprises lateral rows and longitudinal columns.
17 . The collapsible portable climbing net of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first collar, the second collar, the third collar, and the fourth collar comprises a bracket, a pin, a screw, a hole, a clamp, a magnet, a ring, a collar, a threaded collar, an internal or external thread.
