Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an ironing module including a water supply tank that stores water therein, a steam generator that receives water from the water supply tank and heats water, a cable that transmits at least one of water and steam heated by the steam generator, and a steam iron connected to a distal end of the cable to spray steam to the outside, and preventing condensate from being discharged to the outside of the steam iron.

Claims (30)

1 . An ironing module comprising:

a water supply tank configured to store water therein;

a steam generator configured to receive water from the water supply tank and heat water;

a cable configured to transmit at least one of water or steam heated by the steam generator; and

a steam iron connected to a distal end of the cable and configured to spray steam to an outside of the steam iron,

wherein the steam iron includes a chamber configured to receive water and steam from the cable, reheat the water and the steam, and spray the water and the steam,

wherein the chamber includes:

a housing defining a heating space configured to accommodate at least one of water or steam supplied from the cable,

a heater coupled to the housing and configured to heat the housing,

an inlet connected to the cable, the inlet extending through a first surface of the housing,

a sprayer configured to discharge the steam to an outside of the housing, the sprayer extending through a second surface of the housing opposite to the first surface of the housing;

a blocking partition wall dividing inside of the housing into a heating chamber in communication with the inlet and a spray chamber in communication with the sprayer; and

a guide nozzle configured to guide at least one of water or steam that has reached the blocking partition wall from the heating chamber to the spray chamber,

wherein the guide nozzle is configured to spray, in a direction from the inlet toward the sprayer, the water and the steam toward an inner wall of the second surface of the housing.

2 . The ironing module of claim 1 , wherein the guide nozzle is disposed such that at least a partial area thereof is blocked from facing the sprayer.

3 . The ironing module of claim 2 , wherein the chamber further includes a cover coupled to an upper portion of the housing and shielding the heating space,

wherein the sprayer is disposed at a vertical level lower than a vertical level of the guide nozzle.

4 . The ironing module of claim 3 , wherein the chamber further includes a collecting portion positioned at a vertical level lower than the vertical level of the sprayer in the spray chamber to provide a collection space where water is stored and heated.

5 . The ironing module of claim 3 , wherein the guide nozzle is defined as at least one area of an upper end of the blocking partition wall that is stepped or recessed and spaced apart from the cover.

6 . The ironing module of claim 5 , wherein the guide nozzle has a lower end positioned closer to the cover than to a lower end of the blocking partition wall.

7 . The ironing module of claim 3 , wherein the guide nozzle is defined by cutting a partial area of the blocking partition wall or extending through the blocking partition wall.

8 . The ironing module of claim 7 , wherein a lower end of the guide nozzle is positioned closer to a lower end of the blocking partition wall than to the cover.

9 . The ironing module of claim 7 , wherein the chamber further includes a separating partition wall disposed in the spray chamber so as to face the guide nozzle.

10 . The ironing module of claim 9 , wherein the separating partition wall defines a steam guide hole configured to communicate at least one of water or steam that has passed through the guide nozzle to flow toward the sprayer.

11 . The ironing module of claim 10 , wherein the steam guide hole is defined such that at least a partial area thereof is blocked from facing the guide nozzle.

12 . The ironing module of claim 10 , wherein the steam guide hole is defined with a width or an area size smaller than a width or an area size of the guide nozzle.

13 . The ironing module of claim 10 , wherein the chamber further includes a collecting portion positioned at a vertical level lower than the vertical level of the sprayer in the spray chamber to provide a collection space where water is stored and heated, and

wherein the collecting portion is positioned between the separating partition wall and the sprayer.

14 . The ironing module of claim 1 , wherein the chamber further includes at least one guiding partition wall disposed in the heating chamber to form a flow channel to guide water and steam introduced into the inlet to the blocking partition wall, and a protrusion protruding from the guiding partition wall.

15 . The ironing module of claim 14 , wherein the guiding partition wall has an area spanning between the inlet and the sprayer greater than an area from the inlet toward the sprayer.
