Abstract

A touch screen panel including a substrate having an effective area and a pad area, sensing electrodes disposed in the effective area, pads disposed in the pad area, wirings connecting the sensing electrodes and the pads, respectively, the wirings each having different lengths, and an electrostatic dispersion pad disposed adjacent to a sensing electrode disposed closest to the pad area among the sensing electrodes.

Claims (45)

1 . A touch screen panel, comprising:

a substrate comprising an effective area and a pad area;

sensing electrodes disposed in the effective area;

pads disposed in the pad area;

wirings connecting the sensing electrodes and the pads, respectively, the wirings each having different lengths; and

an electrostatic dispersion pad disposed adjacent to a sensing electrode disposed closest to the pad area among the sensing electrodes and in both the effective area and the pad area,

wherein the electrostatic dispersion pad comprises a first pad portion, and

wherein the first pad portion overlaps both the effective area and the pad area.

2 . The touch screen panel of claim 1 , wherein the electrostatic dispersion pad is disposed adjacent to a first wiring, the first wiring having the shortest length among the wirings.

3 . The touch screen panel of claim 1 , wherein the electrostatic dispersion pad comprises:

the first pad portion disposed in parallel to the wirings;

a second pad portion connected to the first pad portion and disposed in parallel to the wirings between the wirings in the effective area; and

third pad portions connected to the second pad portion and disposed between the sensing electrodes disposed in one direction among the sensing electrodes, respectively.

4 . The touch screen panel of claim 1 , wherein the electrostatic dispersion pad is configured to be grounded or receive DC voltage.

5 . The touch screen panel of claim 1 , wherein:

the substrate further comprises an opaque layer disposed outside the effective area; and

the pads are disposed on the opaque layer.

6 . An organic light emitting diode display panel, comprising:

a first substrate comprising an organic light emitting diode;

an encapsulation layer encapsulating the organic light emitting diode;

a first sensing electrode disposed on the encapsulation layer;

a first pad; and

a first wiring electrically connecting the first sensing electrode to the first pad,

wherein the first substrate further comprises:

an effective area where the organic light emitting diode and the first sensing electrode are disposed;

a pad area where the first pad is disposed; and

a stepped portion disposed between the effective area and the pad area,

wherein a second portion of the first wiring disposed over the stepped portion has a step along the stepped portion and facing the effective area while connecting the first sensing electrode to the first pad, and

wherein a first portion of the first wiring between the first pad and the stepped portion is farther above the first substrate than a third portion of the first wiring between the stepped portion and the first sensing electrode is.

7 . The organic light emitting diode display panel of claim 6 , wherein the stepped portion has a side portion facing the effective area and having an inclined surface.

8 . The organic light emitting diode display panel of claim 6 , wherein the stepped portion comprises layers formed in an area outside the effective area.

9 . The organic light emitting diode display panel of claim 8 , wherein the stepped portion comprises a protective layer.

10 . The organic light emitting diode display panel of claim 6 , wherein the stepped portion has a predetermined thickness and is disposed on the encapsulation layer.

11 . A touch screen panel, comprising:

a substrate comprising an effective area, a pad area, and a stepped portion disposed between the effective area and the pad area;

a first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode disposed in the effective area;

a first pad and a second pad disposed in the pad area;

a first wiring connecting the first sensing electrode and the first pad, the first wiring longitudinally extending in a first direction and having a first length; and

a second wiring connecting the second sensing electrode and the second pad, the second wiring having a second length greater than the first length,

wherein:

the first length is measured from a first end to a second end of the first wiring in the first direction, and the second length is measured from a first end to a second end of the second wiring in the first direction;

the first wiring and the second wiring each comprise slits; and

the number of the slits disposed in the first wiring is greater than the number of the slits disposed in the second wiring.

12 . The touch screen panel of claim 11 wherein the first wiring and the second wiring are disposed on the stepped portion.

13 . The touch screen panel of claim 11 , wherein each of the first wiring and the second wiring only has a single layer structure.
