Abstract

A venue automation environment is disclosed in which various forms of automation and user integration can be managed across one or more activities at one or more venues. Venue automation and integration can include automation at various stages of participant engagement including before, during, and after visiting one or more venues and participating in one or more activities at a venue. Venue automation and integration can include automated itinerary generation, activity reservation, participant identification, access control, payment managing, scoring, media capture (e.g., audio, photo, and video), and venue management.

Claims (46)

1 . A system, comprising:

one or more data processors; and

a non-transitory computer-readable storage media containing instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform operations comprising:

detecting, using a plurality of participant identification systems at a plurality of locations of a multi-activity venue, a participant identifier associated with a participant, wherein detecting the participant identifier at the plurality of locations indicates participant engagement with a plurality of activities at the plurality of locations, wherein the plurality of activities are distinct with respect to each other;

receiving first data comprising a plurality of media items obtained from a plurality of computer systems associated with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein each media item of the plurality of media items is associated with the participant identifier and corresponds to the participant engagement with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue;

receiving second data comprising a plurality of metrics obtained from the plurality of computer systems, wherein each metric of the plurality of metrics is associated with the participant identifier and represents performance data of the participant collected during the participant engagement with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein the performance data is distinct with respect to each activity of the plurality of activities;

generating a media compilation based at least in part on the plurality of media items and the plurality of metrics;

receiving, from a participant device, a participant request to access the media compilation; and

providing, to the participant device, access to the media compilation based at least in part on the participant request.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage media contain additional instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform additional operations comprising receiving, from the participant device, participant instructions for generating the media compilation, and wherein generating the media compilation is based at least in part on the participant instructions.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein providing, to the participant device, access to the media compilation comprises enabling the participant device to download and save the media compilation.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage media contain additional instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform additional operations comprising receiving second data comprising sensor data obtained from the plurality of computer systems associated with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein the sensor data is associated with the participant identifier.

5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein generating the media compilation is based at least in part on the sensor data.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage media contain additional instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform additional operations comprising:

receiving, from a spectator device, a spectator request to access the first data associated with the participant identifier; and

providing, to the spectator device, access to the first data based at least in part on the spectator request.

7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein providing access to the first data comprises providing the first data and the second data for presentation at the spectator device.

8 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the spectator request is a request to access the media compilation, and wherein the media compilation comprises a participant feed corresponding to a particular participant engagement in a particular activity of the plurality of activities, and wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage media contain additional instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform additional operations comprising:

receiving, from the spectator device, a passcode corresponding to the participant feed; and

providing access to the participant feed based at least in part on the passcode.

9 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:

detecting, using a plurality of participant identification systems at a plurality of locations of a multi-activity venue, a participant identifier associated with a participant, wherein detecting the participant identifier at the plurality of locations indicates participant engagement with a plurality of activities at the plurality of locations, wherein the plurality of activities are distinct with respect to each other;

receiving first data comprising a plurality of media items obtained from a plurality of computer systems associated with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein each media item of the plurality of media items is associated with the participant identifier and corresponds to the participant engagement with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue;

receiving second data comprising a plurality of metrics obtained from the plurality of computer systems, wherein each metric of the plurality of metrics is associated with the participant identifier and represents performance data of the participant collected during the participant engagement with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein the performance data is distinct with respect to each activity of the plurality of activities;

generating a media compilation based at least in part on the plurality of media items and the plurality of metrics;

receiving, from a participant device, a participant request to access the media compilation; and

providing, to the participant device, access to the media compilation based at least in part on the participant request.

10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , wherein the media compilation comprises a compilation video based at least in part on the plurality of media items.

11 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising receiving, from the participant device, participant instructions for generating the media compilation, and wherein generating the media compilation is based at least in part on the participant instructions.

12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , wherein providing, to the participant device, access to the media compilation comprises enabling the participant device to download and save the media compilation.

13 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising receiving second data comprising sensor data obtained from the plurality of computer systems associated with the plurality of activities at the multi-activity venue, wherein the sensor data is associated with the participant identifier.

14 . The computer-implemented method of claim 13 , wherein generating the media compilation is based at least in part on the sensor data.

15 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising:

receiving, from a spectator device, a spectator request to access the first data associated with the participant identifier; and

providing, to the spectator device, access to the first data based at least in part on the spectator request.

16 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein providing access to the first data comprises providing the first data and the second data for presentation at the spectator device.

17 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the spectator request is a request to access the media compilation, and wherein the media compilation comprises a participant feed corresponding to a particular participant engagement in a particular activity of the plurality of activities, and wherein the method further comprises:

receiving, from the spectator device, a passcode corresponding to the participant feed; and

providing access to the participant feed based at least in part on the passcode.
