Abstract

A fastening element, which is used for fastening or fixing a display unit, preferably an electronic display unit, particularly preferably an electronic price- and/or product-information display unit, to a support device, which is preferably designed as a shelf edge strip, the fastening element comprising at least one locking element, which is retractable and extensible and preferably constructed as a pin, which is held in its extended position by a spring, which is provided in the fastening element, and can be moved counter to the force of the spring to a retracted position, characterized in that the fastening element is realized as a separate fastening module.

Claims (27)

1 . A fastening element, which is configured to fasten or fix a display unit to a support device,

the fastening element comprising at least one locking element, which is retractable and extensible and is held in its extended position by a spring, the locking element being provided in the fastening element, the locking element being configured to be moved counter to the force of the spring to a retracted position,

wherein the fastening element is realized as a separately insertable fastening module that is configured to be inserted into a housing of the display unit and removable from the housing of the display unit.

2 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , which is designed or shaped in such a manner that it can be inserted or plugged, particularly such that it can be removed again, into a housing structure of the housing of the display unit, which corresponds to the shape of the fastening module.

The fastening element according claim 1 , wherein a magnetic or magnetizable component is provided for moving the locking element, so that by means of the action of an external magnetic force on the magnetic or magnetizable component, the locking element can be moved into the retracted position, counter to the force of the spring.

4 . The fastening element according to claim 3 , wherein the magnetic or magnetizable component is a ferromagnetic component and/or the locking element comprises the magnetic or magnetizable component.

5 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , which comprises an outer sleeve or a cage, in which both the spring and the locking element are accommodated and the locking element protrudes out of the sleeve at least in the extended position.

6 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , wherein the spring, which is supported on a sleeve of the fastening element, holds the locking element in the extended position.

7 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , wherein the locking element is guided in the interior of a sleeve of the fastening element with the aid of a guide and can be displaced along this guide between the extended position and the retracted position.

8 . The fastening element according to claim 7 , wherein the guide is a box- or tube- or carriage- or rail-like guide.

9 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , which comprises a head-side cover with a cover opening, wherein the locking element protrudes through the cover opening at least in its extended position.

The fastening element according to claim 1 , which comprises a side wall adjacent to a cover of the fastening element, in which a side wall opening is recessed, which is designed or shaped in such a manner that the locking element can be inserted into the fastening element or removed from there.

11 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , wherein the locking element comprises a pin.

12 . The fastening element according to claim 1 , further comprising hooks on arms that are configured to be bent elastically toward one another and configured to fasten the fastening element to the housing of the display unit.

13 . A display unit,

which comprises a housing,

characterized in that the housing comprises a housing structure and the housing structure is designed for accommodating a fastening element to be fastened to the housing structure, which is realized as a separate fastening module, wherein the fastening element is used for fastening the display unit to a support device, wherein the housing structure is configured to allow the fastening element to slide in a direction substantially parallel to a main surface of a display of the display unit to fasten the fastening element to the housing structure.

14 . The display unit according to claim 13 , wherein the housing structure is designed as an accommodating shaft which is open towards the outside in accordance with a sleeve-like shape of the fastening module.

15 . The display unit according to claim 14 , wherein the accommodating shaft extends in the direction substantially parallel to the main surface of the display of the display unit.

The display unit according to claim 13 , wherein the housing structure is realized in such a manner, particularly dimensioned in terms of depth in such a manner, that when the fastening element is fully inserted into it, a locking element of the fastening element, at least in its extended position, protrudes at the point of the housing structure beyond an outer edge of the housing structure.

17 . The display unit according to one of claim 13 , wherein the housing structure seals the display unit.

18 . The display unit according to claim 13 , wherein the display unit comprises a fastening element according to one of claims 1 to 10 , which is inserted into the housing structure and realized as a fastening module.

19 . A system, which comprises

a display unit according to claim 18 ,

and

a support device to which the display unit is fastened with the aid of the locking element of the fastening element, which is accommodated in the housing structure of the display unit, wherein the support device comprises at least one recess ( 15 ), into which the locking element is entered.

20 . The display unit according to claim 13 , wherein the display unit is an electronic display unit, or the display unit is an electronic price and/or product information display unit.
