Image encoding/decoding method and device, and recording medium having bitstream stored therein
An image decoding method may include determining a target boundary for a filtering by dividing a reconstructed picture; deriving a boundary strength for the target boundary based on whether at least one block among blocks adjacent to the target boundary was coded by a partition combined prediction, where the partition combined prediction represents a mode in which a prediction is performed by combining a first prediction block of a first partition and a second prediction block of a second partition based on a block being geometrically partitioned into the first partition and the second partition; and performing a filtering for the target boundary based on the boundary strength, where the first prediction block and the second prediction block are prediction blocks in which different predictions were performed.
1 . An image decoding method, the method comprising:
determining a target boundary for a filtering by dividing a reconstructed picture;
based on at least one block of blocks adjacent to the target boundary being coded by a partition combined prediction, deriving a boundary strength for the target boundary based on respective sub-blocks of the blocks adjacent to the target boundary, wherein the partition combined prediction represents a mode in which a prediction is performed by combining a first prediction block of a first partition and a second prediction block of a second partition based on a block being geometrically partitioned into the first partition and the second partition; and
performing a filtering for the target boundary based on the boundary strength,
wherein one of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is intra-predicted, and an other of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is inter-predicted.
2 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein based on at least one sub-block among each pair of sub-blocks adjacent to the target boundary being intra-predicted, the boundary strength is derived as a predetermined first value.
3 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein based on all sub-blocks of each pair of sub-blocks adjacent to the target boundary being intra-predicted, the boundary strength is derived as a predetermined second value, and
wherein based on only one sub-block among each pair of sub-blocks adjacent to the target boundary being intra-predicted, the boundary strength is derived as a predetermined third value.
4 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein deriving the boundary strength includes determining whether a current block among the blocks adjacent to the target boundary was coded by the partition combined prediction.
5 . The method of claim 4 ,
wherein whether the current block was coded by the partition combined prediction is determined based on a motion vector stored for the current block.
6 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein a width and a height of a block adjacent to the target boundary is adaptively determined based on coding information.
7 . The method of claim 6 ,
wherein the coding information includes at least one of a size of the block adjacent to the target boundary, a size of a predetermined grid, a partition division angle for the partition combined prediction or a partition division distance for the partition combined prediction.
8 . An image encoding method, the method comprising:
determining a target boundary for a filtering by dividing a reconstructed picture;
based on at least one block of blocks adjacent to the target boundary being coded by a partition combined prediction, deriving a boundary strength for the target boundary based on respective sub-blocks of the blocks adjacent to the target boundary, wherein the partition combined prediction represents a mode in which a prediction is performed by combining a first prediction block of a first partition and a second prediction block of a second partition based on a block being geometrically partitioned into the first partition and the second partition; and
performing a filtering for the target boundary based on the boundary strength,
wherein one of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is intra-predicted, and an other of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is inter-predicted.
9 . A method for transmitting data for image information, the method comprising:
determining a target boundary for a filtering by dividing a reconstructed picture;
based on at least one block of blocks adjacent to the target boundary being coded by a partition combined prediction, deriving a boundary strength for the target boundary based on respective sub-blocks of the blocks adjacent to the target boundary, wherein the partition combined prediction represents a mode in which a prediction is performed by combining a first prediction block of a first partition and a second prediction block of a second partition based on a block being geometrically partitioned into the first partition and the second partition;
performing a filtering for the target boundary based on the boundary strength;
generating a bitstream by encoding a current block based on the filtered reconstructed picture; and
transmitting data including the bitstream,
wherein one of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is intra-predicted, and an other of the first prediction block and the second prediction block is inter-predicted.
