Trolley system for engaging with a post of a selected exercise machine
A trolley system for engagement with a post of a selected exercise machine, the trolley system includes a body forming a channel, the channel to receive the post therethrough; rollers supported by the body to provide movement of the body along the post; a user engageable device coupled to the body; and a secondary attachment receiver coupled to the body, the secondary attachment receiver having one or more ports to receive one or more secondary user engageable devices; the body and the plurality of rollers selectively allow for movement along the post as a user interacts with the user engageable device.
1 . A trolley system for engagement with a post of a selected exercise machine, the trolley system comprising:
a body forming a channel, the channel to receive the post therethrough;
a plurality of rollers supported by the body and configured to provide movement of the body along the post such that the plurality of rollers roll up and down the post, the plurality of rollers including at least one roller configured to engage with each side of the post, the post having four sides;
a bar coupled to the body, the bar extending outward from the body and in a direction perpendicular to the channel; and
a secondary attachment receiver coupled to the body, the secondary attachment receiver having a first port leading into a first elongated conduit and a second port leading into a second elongated conduit, the first elongated conduit and second elongated conduit being vertically aligned within a single plane, the single plane running parallel to the post without intersecting the post, the first port and the second port configured to receive one or more secondary user engageable devices;
wherein the bar is fixed in the direction perpendicular to the channel and is configured to traverse along the post with the body; and
wherein the secondary attachment receiver extends from the body and is immovably affixed to the body.
2 . The trolley system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of rollers further comprises:
a first set of rollers configured to engage with a front side of the post;
a second set of rollers configured to engage with a left side of the post;
a third set of rollers configured to engage with a right side of the post; and
a fourth set of rollers configured to engage with a rear side of the post;
wherein the front side of the post is opposite of the rear side of the post and the left side of the post is opposite of the right side of the post.
3 . The trolley system of claim 2 , wherein each of the first, second, third, and fourth sets of rollers comprises two rollers.
4 . The trolley system of claim 3 , wherein the first set of rollers are positioned vertically inside of the second set of rollers.
5 . The trolley system of claim 1 , wherein the channel runs along a vertical axis and wherein the bar extends along a horizontal axis, the vertical axis and the horizontal axis being perpendicular.
6 . The trolley system of claim 5 , wherein the vertical axis and the horizontal axis are positioned within a single plane.
7 . The trolley system of claim 1 , wherein the body further comprises a first side, a second side, a front side, and a back side, the first side being opposite of the second side, and wherein the bar extends from the first side and the secondary attachment receiver extends from the second side.
8 . The trolley system of claim 7 , wherein the one or more ports of the secondary attachment receiver open toward at least one of the front side and the back side of the body.
9 . The trolley system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more ports have a hexagonal cross section.
10 . The trolley system of claim 1 , further comprising a first rotational locking bolt extending into a center of the first conduit such that the first rotational locking bolt is configured to lock a secondary user engageable device therein.
11 . The trolley system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a cable attachment coupled to the body; and
a cable attached to the cable attachment and extending upward from the body to an upper cable attachment location positioned a distance away from the body, the distance configured to increase or decrease as the body traverses along the post, the cable provides support or resistance to the body; and
wherein a portion of the cable that makes up the distance between the body and the upper cable attachment location remains parallel to the post.
12 . The trolley system of claim 1 , further comprising a knob extending from the secondary attachment receiver between the first elongated conduit and the second elongated conduit, the knob configured to lock the body to the post.
13 . The trolley system of claim 1 , wherein the bar extends from a side of the body such that where the bar and the body are coupled together forms a right angle.
