Abstract

A machine for deformation machinings of a tube and/or of a component to be mounted to said tube, including a support frame, a bracket projecting in a cantilever manner from the support frame and a deformation unit engaged rotationally free with the bracket, the deformation unit in turn including a thrust group and a support head, the thrust group having a thrust actuator extending along an actuator axis, where the support head faces the thrust group and is suitable to support a tube portion during the machining, where the thrust group further includes a deformation head extending along a head axis offset with respect to the actuator axis, the offsetting between the actuator axis and the head axis is suitable to allow the deformation of the tube and/or of the component also when an end of the tube is close to a curvature of the tube itself.

Claims (14)

1 . A machine for deformation machinings of a tube and/or deformation of a component, such as a ring or a bush, to be mounted to said tube, the machine comprising:

a support frame;

a bracket projecting in a cantilever manner from the support frame;

a deformation unit engaged rotationally free with the bracket and comprising:

i) a thrust group comprising a thrust actuator extending along an actuator axis;

ii) a support head facing the thrust group and suitable to support a tube portion during the machining,

wherein the thrust group also comprises a deformation head extending along a head axis, wherein said head axis and said actuator axis are offset from each other, so as to make the machine suitable to perform the deformation of the tube and/or component even where one end of the tube is close to a curvature of the tube.

2 . A machine according to claim 1 , wherein the thrust group further comprises a thrust flange moved by the thrust actuator and extending along a flange axis incident on the actuator axis.

3 . A machine according to claim 2 , wherein the deformation head is removably engageable with the thrust flange, and wherein the head axis is parallel to the actuator axis and is spaced apart therefrom.

4 . A machine according to claim 1 , wherein the offsetting between the actuator axis and the head axis is defined by a first misalignment length.

5 . A machine according to claim 2 , wherein the actuator axis and the flange axis lie on a midsagittal plane, and wherein the head axis lies on an imaginary deformation plane which is parallel to the midsagittal plane and is spaced apart therefrom.

6 . A machine according to claim 4 , wherein the first misalignment length is measured on an imaginary deformation plane.

7 . A machine according to claim 5 , wherein the distance between the imaginary deformation plane and the midsagittal plane is defined by a second misalignment length.

8 . A machine according to claim 1 , wherein the deformation unit engages the bracket through a pivot which enables the rotation of the deformation unit about a pivot axis.
