Abstract

An adapter device for a power tool, in particular a multifunctional power tool that is able to be driven in an oscillating manner, has at least one machine interface for connecting to the power tool, in particular to a tool receptacle of the power tool, and at least one tool interface for connecting to a sanding tool, in particular to a sanding sheet. The machine interface have has a connecting plane which encloses an angle other than 0°, 90° and 180° with a connecting plane of the tool interface.

Claims (31)

1 . An adapter device for a multifunction power tool configured to be driven in oscillation, comprising:

at least one machine interface configured to connect to a tool seating surface of a tool receiver of the multifunction power tool that is designed to receive an abrasive sheet;

at least one tool interface configured to connect to the abrasive sheet, wherein the at least one machine interface has a connection plane that, with a connection plane of the at least one tool interface, encloses an angle that is other than 0°, 90° and 180°; and

at least one rotary or linear bearing unit designed to support the at least one machine interface such that the at least one machine interface is movable relative to the at least one tool interface; and

at least one fixing unit, which has at least one fixing element that is designed to fix the at least one tool interface relative to the at least one machine interface in at least one angular position,

wherein the at least one tool interface is configured similar to the tool seating surface such that the at least one tool interface is designed to receive the abrasive sheet,

wherein the at least one rotary or linear bearing unit includes a rotary bearing unit designed to support the at least one machine interface so that the at least one machine interface is pivotable, with respect to the at least one tool interface, about an axis of inclination of the at least one machine interface,

wherein the rotary bearing unit comprises a rotary bearing element about which the at least one machine interface is pivotable relative to the at least one tool interface,

wherein the rotary bearing element is connected to the at least one tool interface and the at least one machine interface in a common end region,

wherein the rotary bearing element is configured as a hinge, and

wherein the at least one fixing unit further comprises a plurality of fixing strips pivotably connected to one another by a plurality of pivot elements.

2 . The adapter device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an elastomeric bellows arranged between the at least one machine interface and the at least one tool interface, the elastomeric bellows defining an air channel fluidly connecting the at least one machine interface and the at least one tool interface.

3 . A tool system comprising:

at least one multifunctional power tool configured to be driven in oscillation; and

the adapter device as claimed in claim 1 .

4 . A multifunction power tool configured to be driven in oscillation, comprising:

at least one drive unit which has a drive axis;

at least one output unit which has an output axis, wherein the drive axis is transverse to the output axis;

a tool receiver having a tool seating surface designed to receive an abrasive sheet; and

an adapter device comprising:

at least one machine interface configured to connect to the tool seating surface;

at least one tool interface configured to connect to the abrasive sheet, wherein the at least one tool interface has a connection plane that, in relation to the drive axis and/or to the output axis, encloses at least one angle that is other than 0°, 90° and 180°;

at least one rotary or linear bearing unit designed to support the at least one machine interface such that the at least one machine interface is movable relative to the at least one tool interface; and

at least one fixing unit, which has at least one fixing element that is designed to fix the at least one tool interface relative to the at least one machine interface in at least one angular position,

wherein the at least one tool interface is configured similar to the tool seating surface such that the at least one tool interface is designed to receive the abrasive sheet,

wherein the at least one rotary or linear bearing unit includes a rotary bearing unit designed to support the at least one machine interface so that the at least one machine interface is pivotable, with respect to the at least one tool interface, about an axis of inclination of the at least one machine interface,

wherein the rotary bearing unit comprises a rotary bearing element about which the at least one machine interface is pivotable relative to the at least one tool interface,

wherein the rotary bearing element is connected to the at least one tool interface and the at least one machine interface in a common end region,

wherein the rotary bearing element is configured as a hinge, and

wherein the at least one fixing unit further comprises a plurality of fixing strips pivotably connected to one another by a plurality of pivot elements.

5 . The power tool as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the adapter device further comprises an elastomeric bellows arranged between the at least one machine interface and the at least one tool interface, the elastomeric bellows defining an air channel fluidly connecting the at least one machine interface and the at least one tool interface.
