Systems and methods for sending and receiving encrypted submessages
View Patent ↗Systems and methods are provided for sending and receiving encrypted submessages. A method for sending and receiving encrypted submessages includes generating a first submessage comprising a first portion of content stored onto a first computer, wherein the first submessage includes at least two submessage units; generating a second submessage comprising a second portion of the content; encrypting the at least two submessage units to provide at least two encrypted submessage units; transmitting the first submessage, including the at least two encrypted submessage units, to a second computer via a first path; transmitting the second submessage to the second computer via a second path; and transmitting at least two encryption keys to the second computer, wherein each of the at least two encryption keys respectively corresponds to one of each of the at least two encrypted submessage units.
1 . A method comprising:
generating, by a server, a first submessage comprising a first portion of content stored onto a first computer, wherein the first submessage includes at least a first submessage unit and a second submessage unit;
generating, by the server, a second submessage comprising a second portion of the content;
encrypting, by the server, the first submessage unit and the second submessage, wherein the second submessage unit includes a second key corresponding to the encrypted second submessage;
transmitting, by the server, the first submessage, including the encrypted first submessage unit, to a second computer via a first path;
transmitting, by the server, the encrypted second submessage to the second computer via a second path; and
transmitting, by the server, at least a first encryption key to the second computer, wherein the first encryption key corresponds to the encrypted first submessage unit.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first path is of a first network, and wherein the second path is of a second network.
3 . The method of claim 1 , comprising:
encrypting, by the server, the second submessage unit.
4 . The method of claim 1 , comprising:
transmitting, by the server, another encryption key to the second computer.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the other encryption key indicates a decryption algorithm to decrypt the second submessage unit.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the server further transmits one or more copies of at least one of the first submessage or the second submessage to the second computer.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein one or more copies of at least one of the first submessage or the second submessage are indistinguishable from the first submessage or the second submessage without the respective encryption key.
8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein when the second computer receives more than one copy of one of the first submessage and the second submessage, the second computer decrypts a copy that is not corrupted.
9 . A system comprising:
a first computer;
a second computer;
and a server in communication with the first computer and the second computer, the server configured to:
generate, by the server, a first submessage comprising a first portion of content stored onto a first computer, wherein the first submessage includes at least a first submessage unit and a second submessage unit;
generate, by the server, a second submessage comprising a second portion of the content;
encrypt, by the server, the first submessage unit and the second submessage, wherein the second submessage unit includes a second key corresponding to the encrypted second submessage;
transmit, by the server, the first submessage, including the encrypted first submessage unit, to a second computer via a first path;
transmit, by the server, the encrypted second submessage to the second computer via a second path; and
transmit, by the server, at least a first encryption key to the second computer, wherein the first encryption key corresponds to the encrypted first submessage unit.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the first path is of a first network, and wherein the second path is of a second network.
11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the server is configured to:
encrypt, by the server, the second submessage unit.
12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the server is configured to:
transmit, by the server, another encryption key to the second computer.
13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the other encryption key indicates a decryption algorithm to decrypt the second submessage unit.
14 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the server further transmits one or more copies of at least one of the first submessage or the second submessage to the second computer.
15 . The system of claim 9 , wherein one or more copies of at least one of the first submessage or the second submessage are indistinguishable from the first submessage or the second submessage without the respective encryption key.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein when the second computer receives more than one copy of one of the first submessage and the second submessage, the second computer decrypts a copy that is not corrupted.
17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that when executed by a processor effectuate:
generating, by a server, a first submessage comprising a first portion of content stored onto a first computer, wherein the first submessage includes at least a first submessage unit and a second submessage unit;
generating, by the server, a second submessage comprising a second portion of the content;
encrypting, by the server, the first submessage unit and the second submessage, wherein the second submessage unit includes a second key corresponding to the encrypted second submessage;
transmitting, by the server, the first submessage, including the encrypted first submessage unit, to a second computer via a first path;
transmitting, by the server, the encrypted second submessage to the second computer via a second path; and
transmitting, by the server, at least a first encryption key to the second computer, wherein the first encryption key corresponds to the encrypted first submessage unit.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the instructions when executed by the processor effectuate:
transmitting, by the server, another encryption key to the second computer.
