Abstract

A system for assisting sharing of information includes circuitry to: input a plurality of sentences each representing a statement made by one of a plurality of users, the sentence being generated by speaking or writing during a meeting or by extracting from at least one of meeting data, email data, electronic file data, and chat data at any time; determine a statement type of the statement represented by each one of the plurality of sentences, the statement type being one of a plurality of statement types previously determined; select, from among the plurality of sentences being input, one or more sentences each representing a statement of a specific statement type of the plurality of types; and output a list of the selected one or more sentences as key statements of the plurality of sentences.

Claims (60)

1 . A system, comprising:

circuitry configured to

input a plurality of speech statements during a meeting;

determine each speech statement of the plurality of speech statements which is a candidate of an action item; and

display a screen including:

a graphical user interface,

each speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, and

for each respective speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, (A) a first user interface element configured to receive a first user input to set a corresponding due date for the action item, (B) the corresponding due date for the action item, and (C) a second user interface element configured to receive a second user input to edit a person in charge of the action item, wherein

the graphical user interface displays each speech statement in association with a corresponding action item, the corresponding due date set by the first user input and a corresponding person in charge set by the second user input.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

estimate a topic boundary that classifies the plurality of speech statements into one or more groups, and

generate a topic for each group of the one or more groups classified by the topic boundary.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the topic is one or more words which expresses at least one of a subject, theme, feature, or issue, common to a plurality of sentences belonging to a same group.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the screen includes, for each respective speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, information indicating that the respective speech statement is determined as the candidate of the action item.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

identify a speaker of each speech statement from a plurality of participants of the meeting; and

for each respective speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, display the respective speech statement in association with the speaker.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

evaluate the meeting based on the plurality of speech statements; and

output a result of the evaluation.

7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the circuitry is configured to evaluate the meeting based on a length of time of the meeting and a scheduled length of time of the meeting.

8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

calculate a cost of the meeting based on labor costs of one or more participants of the meeting; and

output the calculated cost.

9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

output a communication diagram indicating communications among a plurality of users during the meeting or email the communication diagram including a plurality of lines each representing the communications between the plurality users; and

in response to a selection of a specific line, display a log of the communications represented by the specific line.

10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to select a speech statement to be output, based on at least one of an organization to which a speaker of the speech statement or a data format of the speech statement.

11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to

determine, for each speech statement of the plurality of speech statements, a type of the speech statement; and

determine that one or more input speech statements having a specific type are the candidate of the action item.

12 . A method, comprising:

inputting a plurality of speech statements during a meeting;

determining each speech statement of the plurality of speech statements which is a candidate of an action item; and

displaying a screen including:

a graphical user interface,

each speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, and

for each respective speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, (A) a first user interface element configured to receive a first user input to set a corresponding due date for the action item, (B) the corresponding due date for the action item, and (C) a second user interface element configured to receive a second user input to edit a person in charge of the action item, wherein

the graphical user interface displays each speech statement in association with a corresponding action item, the corresponding due date set by the first user input and a corresponding person in charge set by the second user input.

13 . A non-transitory recording medium storing a plurality of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to perform a method comprising:

inputting a plurality of speech statements during a meeting;

determining each speech statement of the plurality of speech statements which is a candidate of an action item; and

displaying a screen including:

a graphical user interface,

each speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, and

for each respective speech statement determined to be a candidate of an action item, (A) a first user interface element configured to receive a first user input to set a corresponding due date for the action item, (B) the corresponding due date for the action item, and (C) a second user interface element configured to receive a second user input to edit a person in charge of the action item, wherein

the graphical user interface displays each speech statement in association with a corresponding action item, the corresponding due date set by the first user input and a corresponding person in charge set by the second user input.

14 . An apparatus, comprising:

circuitry configured to:

input a plurality of speech statements during a meeting;

determine each speech statement of the plurality of speech statements which is a candidate of an action item; and

display a screen including:

a graphical user interface,

each speech statement determined to be the candidate of the action item, and

for each respective speech statement determined to be the candidate of the action item, (A) a first user interface element configured to receive a first user input to set a corresponding due date for the action item, (B) the corresponding due date for the action item, and (C) a second user interface element configured to receive a second user input to edit a person in charge of the action item, wherein

the graphical user interface displays each speech statement in association with a corresponding action item, the corresponding due date set by the first user input and a corresponding person in charge set by the second user input.
