Abstract

A method includes transmitting, by a user device associated with a user to a transportation service provider, a request for a service comprising entry into a controlled area associated with the service. The method further includes receiving, by the user device from the transportation service provider, a token to allow the user device to connect with the service and to allow entry into the controlled area associated with the service. The method further includes transmitting, by the user device to a security device associated with the transportation service provider, the token. The security device restricts access to the controlled area associated with the service. The method further includes receiving, by the user device from the security device responsive to the transmitting of the token, the access to the controlled area associated with the service.

Claims (45)

1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:

receiving, from a user device associated with a user, a request for a transportation service;

transmitting, to the user device, details about a specific service provider for the request for the transportation service;

identifying a service provider subsequent to transmitting the details to the user device; and

providing a user notification in response to determining, based on a location of a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider and a location of the user device, that the service provider is not the specific service provider.

2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting an assignment to a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider to fulfill the transportation service.

3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , further comprising:

determining, via global positioning data of the provider computing device, the location of the provider computing device associated with the specific service provider;

determining, via global positioning data of the user device, the location of the user device; and

determining a location for receiving the transportation service.

4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 , further comprising providing the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the specific service provider does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 , further comprising providing the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the user device does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein providing the user notification comprises providing an indication that the user device should not enter a wrong vehicle.

7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising providing the user notification by transmitting the user notification to network enabled eyewear of the user.

8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

identifying an additional service provider subsequent to transmitting the details to the user device; and

providing an additional user notification, based on the location of the user device and the additional service provider, in response to determining that the additional service provider is the specific service provider.

9 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing device to:

receive, from a user device associated with a user, a request for a transportation service;

transmit, to the user device, details about a specific service provider for the request for the transportation service;

identify a service provider subsequent to transmitting the details to the user device; and

provide a user notification in response to determining, based on a location of a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider and a location of the user device, that the service provider is not the specific service provider.

10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to transmit an assignment to a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider to fulfill the transportation service.

11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to:

determine, via global positioning data of the provider computing device, the location of the provider computing device associated with the specific service provider;

determine, via global positioning data of the user device, the location of the user device; and

determine a location for receiving the transportation service.

12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to provide the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the specific service provider does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 11 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to provide the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the user device does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to provide the user notification by providing an indication that the user device should not enter a wrong vehicle.

15 . A system comprising:

at least one processor; and

at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:

receive, from a user device associated with a user, a request for a transportation service;

transmit, to the user device, details about a specific service provider for the request for the transportation service;

identify a service provider subsequent to transmitting the details to the user device; and

provide a user notification in response to determining, based on a location of a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider and a location of the user device, that the service provider is not the specific service provider.

16 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to transmit an assignment to a provider computing device associated with the specific service provider to fulfill the transportation service.

17 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:

determine, via global positioning data of the provider computing device, the location of the provider computing device associated with the specific service provider;

determine, via global positioning data of the user device, the location of the user device; and

determine a location for receiving the transportation service.

18 . The system of claim 17 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the specific service provider does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

19 . The system of claim 17 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide the user notification that the service provider is not the specific service provider in response to determining that the location of the user device does not correspond to the location for receiving the transportation service.

20 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide the user notification by providing an indication that the user device should not enter a wrong vehicle.
