Abstract

A communication device has: a receiving unit configured to receive information from another communication device; a control unit configured to determine an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) based on the information; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit a signal, to which the MCS is applied, in autonomously selected resources, to the another communication device.

Claims (20)

1 . A communication device comprising:

a receiver configured to receive information from another communication device;

a processor configured to determine an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) based on the information; and

a transmitter configured to transmit a signal, to which the MCS is applied, in autonomously selected resources, to the another communication device,

wherein the transmitter transmits a preamble to the another communication device,

wherein the receiver receives channel information that is based on the preamble, from the another communication device, and

wherein the processor determines the MCS based on the channel information.

2 . The communication device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the transmitter transmits a data signal to the another communication device,

wherein the receiver receives feedback information that is based on the data signal, from the another communication device, and

wherein the processor selects the MCS based on the feedback information.

3 . The communication device according to claim 2 , wherein the processor selects an MCS with a lower coding rate when the feedback information indicates a negative acknowledgment.

4 . The communication device according to claim 1 , wherein the transmitter transmits the MCS to the another communication device via a preamble or a dedicated signal.

5 . A communication method to be performed by a communication device, the method comprising:

receiving information from another communication device;

determining an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) based on the information;

transmitting a signal, to which the MCS is applied, in autonomously selected resources, to the another communication device;

transmitting a preamble to the another communication device;

receiving channel information that is based on the preamble, from the another communication device; and

determining the MCS based on the channel information.
