Abstract

A terminal includes: a receiving unit which receives, from a base station, system information including information for configuring an index of a search space set for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring for a downlink control information (DCI) format including Paging Early Indication (PEI); and a control unit which monitors the PDCCH for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for Remaining system information (RMSI) in a case where the index of the search space is configured to be 0 based on the information for configuring the index, and which monitors the PDCCH for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI in a case where the index of the search space is configured to be other than 0 based on the information for configuring the index.

Claims (31)

1 . A terminal comprising:

a memory storing instructions; and

one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to:

receive, from a base station, system information including information for configuring an index of a search space set, the index of the search space set being for monitoring physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates for a downlink control information (DCI) format including Paging Early Indication (PEI);

monitor, the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to a PDCCH monitoring occasion for Remaining system information (RMSI) in a case where the index of the search space is configured to be 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set; and

monitor the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to the index of the search space set configured to be other than 0 in a case where the index of the search space set is configured to be other than 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set.

2 . The terminal according to claim 1 , wherein:

the information for configuring the index of the search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI is first information;

the system information includes second information for configuring an index of a search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for a paging; and

the one or more processors are further configured to execute the instructions to skip monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for the paging in a paging occasion based on the second information in a case where the PEI is not detected, or in a case where the PEI does not indicate a subgroup to which the terminal belongs.

3 . The terminal according to claim 1 , wherein:

the information for configuring the index of the search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI is first information;

the system information includes second information for configuring an index of a search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for a paging; and p 1 the one or more processors are further configured to execute the instructions to perform monitoring of the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for the paging in a paging occasion based on the second information in a case where the PEI indicates a subgroup to which the terminal belongs.

4 . A base station comprising:

a memory storing instructions; and

one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to:

transmit, to a terminal, system information including information for configuring an index of a search space set, the index of the search space set being for monitoring physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates for a downlink control information (DCI) format including Paging Early Indication (PEI);

transmit, to the terminal, the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to a PDCCH monitoring occasion for Remaining system information (RMSI) in a case where the index of the search space is configured to be 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set; and

transmit, to the terminal, the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to the index of the search space set configured to be other than 0 in a case where the index of the search space set is configured to be other than 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set.

5 . A wireless communication method for a terminal, the wireless communication method comprising:

receiving, from a base station, system information including information for configuring an index of a search space set, the index of the search space set being for monitoring physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates for a downlink control information (DCI) format including Paging Early Indication (PEI);

monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to a PDCCH monitoring occasion for Remaining system information (RMSI) in a case where the index of the search space is configured to be 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set; and

monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI in a PDCCH monitoring occasion for the PEI which is corresponding to the index of the search set configured to be other than 0 in a case where the index of the search space set is configured to be other than 0 based on the information for configuring the index of the search space set.

6 . The wireless communication method according to claim 5 , wherein:

the information for configuring the index of the search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI is first information;

the system information includes second information for configuring an index of a search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for a paging; and

the wireless communication method further comprises skipping the monitoring of the PDCCH for the DCI format for the paging in a paging occasion based on the second information in a case where the PEI is not detected, or in a case where the PEI does not indicate a subgroup to which the terminal belongs.

7 . The wireless communication method according to claim 5 , wherein:

the information for configuring the index of the search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format including the PEI is first information;

the system information includes second information for configuring an index of a search space set for monitoring the PDCCH candidates for the DCI format for a paging; and

the wireless communication method further comprises performing the monitoring of the PDCCH for the DCI format for the paging in a paging occasion based on the second information in a case where the PEI indicates a subgroup to which the terminal belongs.
