The computing housing assembly includes an enclosure and removably coupled front lid. The front panel has inner and outer surfaces and a light panel display visible at the outer surface. The inner surface is coupled to the front lid. The light panel display includes a static display portion, a first variable light display portion illuminated by one set of light emitting sources and a separate second variable light display portion illuminated by another set of light emitting sources. The light guide is coupled to and extends inward from a rear surface of the front lid and is configured to guide light from one set of light emitting sources to the front panel proximate the first variable light display portion.
