Abstract

A cigar tobacco strips and a method for rolling and packaging the same is provided. The cigar tobacco strip is rolled into cylindrical shape and placed within an enveloping means. The tobacco strip is wrapped into cylindrical form causing the cigar tobacco paper to form a plurality of layers, wherein said layer comprises a double strip section. The rolled tobacco strip is then placed inside an enveloping means. The encased tobacco strip within the enveloping means allows for the tobacco strip to keep a cylindrical shape until delivered and used by a consumer. The enveloping means may maintain the moisture for longer time due to the rolling method prior to delivery to a consumer.

Claims (8)

1 . A method of rolling cigar tobacco strips for storage, consisting of the steps of:

providing a cigar tobacco strip having a first end that includes a first edge, a second end that includes a second end, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, wherein the first and second ends are distally opposite each other, the first and second lateral sides extend between the first end and the second end, and wherein the first and second lateral sides have a length greater than a length of the first and second ends;

wherein said cigar tobacco strip comprises an inner surface and an outer surface, each surface being inverse to the other;

folding the first edge on the first end of the cigar tobacco strip, such that a first portion of the inner surface of the cigar tobacco strip faces, and comes into contact with, a second portion of the inner surface, while a remaining portion of the inner surface remains unfolded and does not come into contact with another portion of the inner surface;

rolling the folded first edge on the first end of the cigar tobacco strip along the unfolded portion of the inner surface toward the second edge on the second end of the cigar tobacco strip until forming a rolled cigar tobacco strip to preserve moisture within the inner surface of the cigar tobacco strip;

storing the rolled cigar tobacco strip in a packaging; and

wherein the rolled cigar tobacco strip comprises a center having an open space.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the inner surface is adapted to interact with a smoking substance, and wherein the outer surface is adapted to be exposed to the environment.
