Abstract

A circuit-based vehicle archway assembly having an arched casing with a cylinder ramp at one end and an opposing semi-oval end. It includes a plurality of rotational cylinders within the casing and has respective airfoil bridges between the rotational cylinders. The airfoil bridges and cylinder ramps may be structured to create a cambered hybrid magnus lift airfoil assembly generating directional force to a circuit-based vehicle.

Claims (9)

1 . A circuit-based vehicle archway assembly comprising:

an arched casing comprising a cylinder ramp at one end and an opposing semi-oval end;

a plurality of rotational cylinders within the casing; and

respective airfoil bridges between the rotational cylinders;

wherein the airfoil bridges and cylinder ramps are configured to create a cambered hybrid magnus lift airfoil assembly generating directional force to a circuit-based vehicle.

2 . The circuit-based vehicle archway assembly of claim 1 wherein the casing comprises actuating louvered doors that slidably engage a track along the arched casing ridges.

3 . The circuit-based vehicle archway assembly of claim 2 wherein the actuating louvered doors are configured to open, close, partially open and partially close to control venting; and wherein the degree to which the louvered doors are vented is based on the spin rate of the plurality of rotational cylinders and rate of air flow through the circuit-based vehicle.

4 . The circuit-based vehicle archway assembly of claim 1 wherein the archway assembly casing comprises a semi-permeable mesh surface.

5 . The circuit-based vehicle archway assembly of claim 1 wherein the plurality of rotational cylinders comprises at least one of two and three rotational cylinders configured in a parallel orientation.
