System and method of managing workflow for observed events
A system and method that monitors conditions at a location and monitors and detects events in images to determine if there is a recognized event and if so, the recognized event is assigned a concern level and a workflow is transmitted to one or more qualified individuals based on the recognized event and the concern level of the recognized event.
1 . A system for managing workflows for observed events comprising:
one or more image capture apparatus that takes color images at a location and transmits color captured images to a control unit, wherein said control unit having analysis software monitors said color captured images and determines if there is a change in color between a color captured image and a previous color captured image;
wherein if said analysis software determines that there is a change in color, said analysis software uses said change in color to identify an unrecognized event or a recognized event, if it is a recognized event said analysis software determines a concern level for said recognized event based on said change in color, wherein said analysis software then directs response software to determine a workflow based on said change in color and said recognized event for responding to said recognized event;
wherein for a recognized event, said response software further determines if an individual is needed to perform said workflow, wherein if it is determined that an individual is needed to perform said workflow, said response software selects one or more qualified individuals from a listing of qualified individuals who are qualified to perform said workflow and transmits said workflow and said concern level to individuals input/output device of each selected said one or more qualified individuals, wherein if said response software determines that an individual is not needed to perform said workflow, said response software interacts with one or more automated control systems controlling robotic or automatic equipment or machines to perform said workflow; and
wherein if it is an unrecognized event, said response software identifies qualified individuals who are assigned for responding to an unrecognized event who then determine a workflow and individuals to respond to said unrecognized event and said workflow is transmitted to said individual input/output device.

The system of claim 1 , wherein if said response software determines if an individual is needed to perform said workflow, and said one or more qualified individuals are performing other workflows having concern levels, said response software directs said one or more qualified individuals to perform said workflows in order of said concern levels.

The system of claim 1 , wherein said analysis software examines color pixels and RGB values (color values) creating said color captured images and detects any changes in said color pixels, RGB values and color patterns between said color captured image and a previously color captured image to identify said recognized event and determine a concern level.

The system of claim 1 , wherein said analysis software examines color pixels and RGB values (color values) creating said color captured images and calculates an average RGB value for each said color captured images and uses said average RGB values to detect any changes in said average RGB values to determine if there is a change in color between said color captured images and wherein said analysis software compares any said change in said average RGB values with RGB reference thresholds for said recognized event and if said change in said average RGB values are below said RGB reference thresholds, said analysis software continues to monitor said color captured images and reduces said concern level for said workflow until, said average RGB values are equal to or above said RGB reference thresholds, said analysis software then directs said response software to determine a workflow for responding to said recognized event.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein said workflow is further selected based on degree or color change (such as the amount of change in the RGB values).
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said analysis software identifies changes in color patterns between said color captured image and said previously color captured image and further uses said change in said color patterns to identify said recognized event.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said analysis software determines a time period between said color captured image and said previous color captured image, and wherein said analysis software uses said recognized event and said time period to determine said concern level.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said recognized event is selected from a list of recognized events that correspond to said change in color.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said workflow is selected from a listing of workflows, wherein said workflows are each based on change in color and color patterns between said color capture images.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said analysis software calculates surface area where change in color occurs and determines a concern level based on said surface area.
11 . A system for managing workflows for observed events comprising:
one or more image capture apparatus that take color images at a location and transmits color captured images to a control unit, wherein said control unit having analysis software that monitors said color captured images and detects any changes in pixels and RGB values and color patterns of said color captured images and determines if there is a change in color and color pattern between a color captured image and a previous color captured image, and if said analysis software determines that there is a change in color and/or color pattern, said analysis software then determines if said change in color and/or color pattern is a result of an unrecognized event or a recognized event and if it is a recognized event, a concern level for said recognized event is determined, and said analysis software then directs response software to determine a workflow for responding to said recognized event;
wherein if it is determined that said change in color and/or color pattern is a result of an unrecognized event, qualified individuals assigned for responding to an unrecognized event determine a workflow and a concern level for responding to said unrecognized event;
wherein said response software determines if an individual is needed to perform said workflow and if it is determined that an individual is needed to perform said workflow, said response software selects one or more qualified individuals who are qualified to perform said workflow and transmits said workflow and said concern level to individuals input/output device of each selected said one or more qualified individuals, and wherein if said response software determines that an individual is not needed to perform said workflow, said response software interacts with one or more automated control systems controlling robotic or automatic equipment or machines to perform said workflow; and
wherein if said software determines if an individual is needed to perform said workflow, and wherein if said one or more qualified individuals are performing other workflows having concern levels, said response software directs said one or more qualified individuals to perform said workflows in order of said concern levels.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein said analysis software determines a time period between said color captured image and said previous color captured image, and wherein said analysis software uses said recognized event and said time period to determine said concern level.

The system of claim 11 , wherein said analysis software examines color pixels and RGB values (color values) creating said color captured images and calculates an average RGB value for each said color captured images and uses said average RGB values to detect any changes in said average RGB values to determine if there is a change in color between said color captured images said analysis software uses said change in color to identify a recognized event, and wherein said analysis software compares said change in said average RGB values with RGB reference thresholds for said recognized event and if said change in said average RGB values are below said RGB reference thresholds, said analysis software continues to monitor said color captured images, and wherein if said change in said average RGB values is equal to or above said RGB reference thresholds, said analysis software determines a concern value and directs said response software to determine a workflow for responding to said recognized event.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein said workflow is further selected based on degree or change in color (such as the change in the RGB values).
15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein said analysis software identifies changes in color patterns between said color captured image and said previously color captured image and further uses said changes in said color patterns to identify said recognized event.
16 . The system of claim 11 , wherein said recognized event is selected from a list of recognized events that correspond to said change in color.
17 . The system of claim 11 , wherein said workflow is selected from a listing of workflows for responding to recognized events.
18 . A method for managing workflows for observed events comprising the steps of:
taking color images of a location and transmitting the color captured images to a control unit;
monitoring the color captured images to determine if there is a change in color from a color captured image and a previous color captured image using changes in the pixels and their RGB values between the color captured image and the previous color captured image;
if there is a change in color between said color captured image and the previous color captured image, determining if there has been a recognized or an unrecognized event, if a recognized event, identifying a workflow and a concern level for the recognized event;
wherein if a unrecognized event, identifying qualified individuals who are assigned for responding to an unrecognized event, wherein said qualified individuals determine a workflow and concern level for responding to said unrecognized event;
determining if an individual is needed to perform the workflow and if it is determined that an individual is needed to perform the workflow, selecting one or more qualified individuals who are qualified to perform the workflow and transmitting the workflow and the concern level to individuals input/output device of each selected one or more qualified individuals, and wherein if it is determined that an individual is not needed to perform the workflow, interacting with one or more automated control systems controlling robotic or automatic equipment or machines to perform the workflow; and
if it is determined that an individual is needed to perform the workflow, and wherein if one or more qualified individuals are performing other workflows having concern levels, the one or more qualified individuals perform the workflows in order of their concern levels.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the method includes using analysis software to determines a time period between said color captured image and said previous color captured image, and wherein said analysis software uses said recognized event and said time period to determine said concern level.
