Systems and methods for determining likelihood of traffic incident information
A method includes receiving a first set of images from an image capture device of a vehicle. The method also includes performing a first analysis of movement of biomechanical points of occupants of the vehicle in the first set of images. The method further includes receiving an indication that a traffic incident has occurred. The method also includes receiving a second set of images from the image capture device corresponding to when the traffic incident occurred. The method further includes performing a second analysis of movement of the biomechanical points of the occupants in the second set of images. The method also includes determining a likelihood of injury or a severity of injury to the occupants based on the first analysis of movement and the second analysis of movement.

process the first image and the second image to identify a shared biomechanical point of the occupant between the first image and the second image;
determine a force that the occupant was subject to during the traffic incident based on tracking movement of the shared biomechanical point of the occupant by calculating a distance difference, speed, and/or acceleration between the shared biomechanical point of the second image and the shared biomechanical point of the first image; and
determine a severity of injury to the occupant of the vehicle based on the force.

9 . A method, comprising:
obtaining, via a controller comprising one or more processors and from a camera, a first image of an occupant within a vehicle and a second image of the occupant within the vehicle based on an indication that a traffic incident involving the vehicle has occurred;
processing, via the controller, the first image and the second image to identify a shared biomechanical point of the occupant between the first image and the second image;
determining, via the controller, a force that the occupant was subject to during the traffic incident based on tracking movement of the shared biomechanical point of the occupant by calculating a distance difference, speed, and/or acceleration between the shared biomechanical point of the second image and the shared biomechanical point of the first image; and
determining, via the controller, a severity of injury to the occupant of the vehicle based on the force.
10 . The method of claim 9 , comprising performing, via the controller, an analysis of movement information associated with the vehicle based on the indication, wherein the movement information comprises a speed of the vehicle, an acceleration of the vehicle, or both.
11 . The method of claim 10 , comprising receiving, via the controller, the indication that the traffic incident has occurred based on the movement information.
12 . The method of claim 9 , comprising receiving, via the controller, the indication that the traffic incident has occurred based on data received from an airbag deployment sensor of the vehicle, a crash indication sensor of the vehicle, a bumper proximity sensor of the vehicle, or any combination thereof.
13 . The method of claim 9 , comprising providing an additional indication of the severity of injury to an emergency service, a law enforcement agency, an insurance company, or any combination thereof.
14 . One or more tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable media comprising instructions configured to cause a controller comprising one or more processors to:
obtain, from a camera, a first image of an occupant within a vehicle and a second image of the occupant within the vehicle based on an indication that a traffic incident involving the vehicle has occurred;
process the first image and the second image to identify a shared biomechanical point of the occupant between the first image and the second image;
