Abstract

A driving circuit of an electronic device includes a first power supply configured to generate a first signal for generating longitudinal vibration of a vibrator included in a cartridge connected to the electronic device, a second power supply configured to generate a second signal for generating transverse vibration of the vibrator, a signal synthesizer configured to generate a synthesized signal by synthesizing the first signal of the first power supply and the second signal of the second power supply, and a switch configured to open and close according to the synthesized signal.

Claims (28)

1 . A driving circuit included in an electronic device, the driving circuit comprising:

a first power supply configured to generate a first signal for generating longitudinal vibration of a vibrator included in a cartridge connected to the electronic device;

a second power supply configured to generate a second signal for generating transverse vibration of the vibrator;

a signal synthesizer configured to generate a synthesized signal by synthesizing the first signal of the first power supply and the second signal of the second power supply; and

a switch configured to be controlled by the synthesized signal.

2 . The driving circuit of claim 1 , wherein

the switch is a field effect transistor (FET) switch,

the signal synthesizer is connected to a gate terminal of the switch,

a first terminal of the vibrator is connected to a source terminal of the switch, and

a second terminal of the vibrator is connected to a drain terminal of the switch.

3 . The driving circuit of claim 2 , further comprising:

a resistor connected to the source terminal of the switch and the gate terminal of the switch.

4 . The driving circuit of claim 2 , further comprising:

an inductor having a first terminal connected to the drain terminal of the switch; and

a third power supply connected to a second terminal of the inductor.

5 . The driving circuit of claim 1 , wherein the first signal has a frequency between 100 kilohertz (kHz) to 1000 kHz.

6 . The driving circuit of claim 1 , wherein the second signal has a frequency between 1 megahertz (MHz) to 10 MHz.

7 . An electronic cigarette including the driving circuit of claim 1 .

8 . An electronic device comprising:

a cartridge unit comprising a vibrator configured to generate an aerosol by vibrating an aerosol generating material; and

a body detachably connected to the cartridge unit, and comprising:

a driving circuit configured to operate the vibrator; and

a controller configured to control an operation of the driving circuit,

wherein the driving circuit comprises:

a first power supply configured to generate a first signal for generating longitudinal vibration of the vibrator;

a second power supply configured to generate a second signal for generating transverse vibration of the vibrator;

a signal synthesizer configured to generate a synthesized signal by synthesizing the first signal of the first power supply and the second signal of the second power supply; and

a switch configured to be controlled by the synthesized signal.
