Cage system and chip management system
A cage is divided into a plurality of locations, including a cashier room. The gaming chip has an RFID tag storing a chip ID. The cage system that manages the movement of the gaming chips within the cage of the casino hall comprises: a chip reader that reads a chip ID from an RFID tag of a gaming chip moving between multiple locations within the cage; a chip reader that reads the chip ID from the RFID tag of the gaming chips that exit the cage to the casino hall; and a chip management database that records the chip IDs read by the chip reader as the movement history of the gaming chips.
1 . A management system for managing gaming chip credits within a casino, wherein a plurality of gaming tables as sources of transfer of the credits are provided on the floor of the casino for storing gaming chips that increase or decrease as a result of game liquidation,
each of the plurality of gaming tables is assigned a table ID,
a cage is provided outside the casino floor as a destination of transfer of the credits, and
the gaming chip is assigned a chip ID,
the management system comprises:
a memory device configured to store the number of gaming chips that increase or decrease in each of the plurality of gaming tables;
a chip management device configured to refer to the memory device and issue a notification to the gaming tables in which the number of the gaming chips is greater than or equal to a predetermined number, wherein the notification prompts the credit;
a table chip reader provided at each of the plurality of gaming tables to read the chip IDs of the gaming chips to be transferred from the gaming tables to the destination in response to obtaining the notification; and
a transfer source management device provided at each of the plurality of gaming tables, which outputs the chip IDs of the gaming chips read by a respective table chip reader and the table ID of a respective gaming table in which the chip IDs were read to the chip management device.
2 . The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the memory device is configured to store a transferring history for each chip ID,
the chip management device is configured to update the transferring history for the chip ID in response to receiving the chip ID and the table ID from the transfer source management device.
3 . The management system according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a destination reading device provided at the destination to read the chip IDs of the gaming chips transferred from the gaming table; and
a destination management device provided at the destination to output the chip IDs read by the destination reading device to the chip management device,
wherein the memory device is configured to store the transferring history for each chip ID, and
the chip management device is configured to update the transferring history of the chip ID in response to receiving the chip IDs from the destination management device.
4 . The chip management system according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a destination reading device provided at the destination and configured to read the chip IDs of the gaming chips transferred from the gaming table; and
a destination management device provided at the destination and configured to output the chip IDs read by the destination reading device to the chip management device,
wherein the chip management device is configured to determine whether the chip IDs obtained from the destination management device match the chip IDs obtained from the source management device.
5 . The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the notification prompting the credit includes information on the number of gaming chips to be credited.
6 . The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the memory device is configured to store the number of the gaming chips per face value, and
the chip management device is configured to output the notification prompting the credit for each face value.
7 . The management system according to claim 6 , wherein the notification prompting the credit includes information on the number of gaming chips per face value to be credited.
