Abstract

A first bent portion and a second bent portion are provided in a first circuit member. The first bent potion includes a vertical portion and a lateral portion. The second bent portion is bent on a side opposite to the first bent potion. A first terminal is provided in the first bent potion. A second terminal is provided in the second bent potion. A protrusion portion is inserted into an opening. A first board side terminal is provided on a first surface of the second circuit member. A second board side terminal is provided on a second surface. The first terminal and the first board side terminal are connected to each other by a first conductive member. The second terminal and the second board side terminal are connected to each other by a second conductive member.

Claims (37)

1 . A terminal connection portion of an electronic device, comprising:

a first circuit member comprising a first face and a second face, and comprising a first conductor and a second conductor provided on the first face;

a first bent portion which is part of the first circuit member and is bent in a thickness direction of the first circuit member;

a second bent portion which is part of the first circuit member and is bent in an opposite direction of the first bent portion;

a first terminal provided in the first bent portion and electrically connected to the first conductor;

a second terminal provided in the second bent portion and electrically connected to the second conductor;

a second circuit member comprising an electrically insulating board comprising a first surface and a second surface;

a first board side terminal provided at a position corresponding to the first terminal of the first surface;

a second board side terminal provided at a position corresponding to the second terminal of the second surface;

a first conductive member which connects the first terminal and the first board side terminal to each other; and

a second conductive member which connects the second terminal and the second board side terminal to each other.

2 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first bent portion comprises a vertical portion which is bent in the thickness direction of the first circuit member, and a lateral portion which extends from the vertical portion in a direction parallel to the first face,

an opening is formed between the lateral portion and the second bent potion,

the second circuit member comprises a protrusion portion inserted into the opening, and

the first board side terminal and the second board side terminal are provided in the protrusion portion.

3 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first circuit member comprises a metal base, and a base insulating layer overlapping the metal base,

the first bent portion includes part of the metal base, part of the base insulating layer, and the first terminal, and

the second bent portion includes part of the metal base, part of the base insulating layer, and the second terminal.

4 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first bent portion is bent toward the first face side of the first circuit member, and the second bent portion is bent toward the second face side.

5 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first circuit member is a tail pad portion of a flexure of a suspension of a disk drive, and

the second circuit member is a circuit board of the disk drive.

6 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first conductive member is a solder bump attached to the first terminal, and the second conductive member is a solder bump attached to the second terminal.

7 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first conductive member is a solder bump attached to the first board side terminal, and the second conductive member is a solder bump attached to the second board side terminal.

8 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first circuit member comprises a metal base, and a base insulating layer overlapping the metal base, and

a terminal portion which consists of only the first terminal is provided in the first bent portion.

9 . The terminal connection portion of claim 1 , wherein

the first circuit member comprises a metal base, and a base insulating layer overlapping the metal base, and

a terminal portion which consists of only the second terminal is provided in the second bent portion.

10 . The terminal connection portion of claim 9 , wherein

the first bent portion is bent toward the second face side of the first circuit member, and the second bent portion is bent toward the first face side of the first circuit member.
