Image encoding/decoding method and device related to block partition, and transmission method for bitstream related to block partition
An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus for performing intra prediction mode based intra prediction are provided. An image decoding method may comprise decoding an intra prediction mode of a current block, deriving at least one intra prediction mode from the decoded intra prediction mode of the current block, generating two or more intra prediction blocks using the intra prediction mode of the current block and the derived intra prediction mode, and generating an intra prediction block of the current block based on the two or more intra prediction blocks.
1 . An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, the method comprising:
receiving partition information for a coding tree unit and maximum size information related to a transform block;
partitioning a split target block in the coding tree unit into a plurality of coding units based on the partition information;
performing intra prediction for each of the plurality of coding units; and
generating a reconstructed picture based on the intra prediction;
wherein a partition type for the coding tree unit includes at least one of quad tree split, binary tree split and ternary tree split,
wherein the partition information includes quad tree split information for the quad tree split and multi-type tree split information for the binary tree split and the ternary tree split,
wherein the maximum size information is signaled at a higher level than a coding unit level,
wherein a block related to a coding unit is split vertically based on a width of the block being greater than a maximum size of the transform block, and
wherein the block is split horizontally based on a height of the block being greater than the maximum size of the transform block.
2 . The image decoding method of claim 1 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is greater than a predetermined threshold, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
3 . The image decoding method of claim 1 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is 128×128, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
4 . The image decoding method of claim 1 , wherein context information to derive partition information for current coding unit is derived based on partition information of neighboring coding unit neighboring the current coding unit.
5 . An image encoding method performed by an image encoding apparatus, the method comprising:
partitioning a split target block in a coding tree unit into a plurality of coding units;
performing intra prediction for each of the plurality of coding units; and
encoding image information including partition information for the coding tree unit and maximum size information related to a transform block;
wherein a partition type for the coding tree unit includes at least one of quad tree split, binary tree split and ternary tree split,
wherein the partition information includes quad tree split information for the quad tree split and multi-type tree split information for the binary tree split and the ternary tree split,
wherein the maximum size information is signaled at a higher level than a coding unit level,
wherein a block related to a coding unit is split vertically based on a width of the block being greater than a maximum size of the transform block, and
wherein the block is split horizontally based on a height of the block being greater than the maximum size of the transform block.
6 . The image encoding method of claim 5 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is greater than a predetermined threshold, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
7 . The image encoding method of claim 5 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is 128×128, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
8 . The image encoding method of claim 5 , wherein context information to derive partition information for current coding unit is derived based on partition information of neighboring coding unit neighboring the current coding unit.
9 . A transmission method for image data, the method comprising:
obtaining a bitstream for encoded image information, wherein the encoded image information is generated based on partitioning a split target block in a coding tree unit into a plurality of coding units, performing intra prediction for each of the plurality of coding units; and
encoding image information including partition information for the coding tree unit and maximum size information related to a transform block, and
transmitting the image data comprising the bitstream,
wherein a partition type for the coding tree unit includes at least one of quad tree split, binary tree split and ternary tree split,
wherein the partition information includes quad tree split information for the quad tree split and multi-type tree split information for the binary tree split and the ternary tree split,
wherein the maximum size information is signaled at a higher level than a coding unit level,
wherein a block related to a coding unit is split vertically based on a width of the block being greater than a maximum size of the transform block, and
wherein the block is split horizontally based on a height of the block being greater than the maximum size of the transform block.
10 . The transmission method of claim 9 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is greater than a predetermined threshold, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
11 . The transmission method of claim 9 , wherein based on a size of the split target block is 128×128, the split target block is partitioned by the quad tree split.
12 . The transmission method of claim 9 , wherein context information to derive partition information for current coding unit is derived based on partition information of neighboring coding unit neighboring the current coding unit.
