Abstract

An example operation may include one or more of registering a user for a first feature by a software application, wherein the registering of the user comprises receiving information about the user, determining that the received information does not meet a first condition related to a first feature, determining that the received information meets a second condition related to a second feature, generating an offer to the user the second feature based on the information, detecting acceptance of the second feature, by the software application, and enabling the second feature by the software application for the user in response to the acceptance. At least one portion of the example operation: integrates with an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, interacts with the AI chatbot, is performed by the AI chatbot, and/or is associated with an AI model.

Claims (40)

1 . An apparatus comprising:

a memory; and

a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to:

receive a request to use a first feature of a software application and registration data from a source device,

determine that the registration data does not meet a first condition related for activation of the first feature,

determine that the registration data alternatively meets a second condition for activation of a second feature,

display a graphical element associated with the second feature via a user interface of the software application,

detect acceptance of the second feature, by the software application, and

modify installed functionality of the software application on the source device to expose new user interface elements and functionality of the second feature, in response to the acceptance.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to detect a selection of the graphical element via the user interface prior to the acceptance of the second feature.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to download a software application associated with the second feature from an external data source and install the software application associated with the second feature on the source device.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to automatically enable the first feature within the software application running on the source device based on satisfaction of the first condition from usage of the second feature.

5 . The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the processor is configured to detect a selection of a button or receive a verbal command, and in response, automatically activate a software feature associated with the first feature on the source device.

6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to install and activate the first feature on the source device after activation of the second feature.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to receive a trigger from a monitoring system with a notification that the first condition has been met and enable functionality of the first feature within the software application on the source device.

8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to modify the installed functionality of the software application executing on the source device to expose additional user interface elements and additional functionality of the first feature, based on usage of the second feature.

9 . A method comprising:

receiving a request to use a first feature of a software application and registration data from a source device;

determining that the registration data does not meet a first condition for activating the first feature;

determining that the registration data alternatively meets a second condition for activating a second feature;

displaying a graphical element associated with the second feature via a user interface of the software application;

detecting acceptance of the second feature, by the software application; and

modifying installed functionality of the software application on the source device to expose new user interface elements and functionality of the second feature, in response to the acceptance.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the detecting comprises detecting a selection of the graphical element via the user interface prior to the acceptance of the second feature.

11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the modifying comprises downloading a software application associated with the second feature from an external data source and installing the software application associated with the second feature on the source device.

12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the determining comprises determining that an action performed with the second feature satisfies the first condition for activation of the first feature.

13 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising automatically enabling the first feature within the software application running on the source device based on satisfaction of the first condition from usage of the second feature.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the detecting comprises detecting a selection of a button or receiving a verbal command, and in response, automatically activate a software feature associated with the first feature on the source device.

15 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the modifying comprises installing and activating the first feature on the source device after activation of the second feature.

16 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the determining that the registration data alternatively meets a second condition comprises receiving a trigger from a monitoring system with a notification that the first condition has been met and enabling functionality of the first feature within the software application on the source device.

17 . A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions stored therein which when executed by a processor cause the processor to perform:

receiving a request to use a first feature of a software application and registration data from a source device;

determining that the registration data does not meet a first condition for activating a first feature;

determining that the registration data alternatively meets a second condition for activating a second feature;

displaying a graphical element associated with the second feature via a user interface of the software application;

detecting acceptance of the second feature, by the software application; and

modifying installed functionality of the software application on the source device to expose new user interface elements and functionality of the second feature, in response to the acceptance.

18 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the detecting comprises detecting a selection of the graphical element via the user interface prior to the acceptance of the second feature.

19 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the modifying comprises downloading a software application associated with the second feature from an external data source and installing the software application associated with the second feature on the source device.

20 . The computer-readable storage medium of The computer-readable storage medium of wherein the determining that the registration data alternatively meets a second condition comprises determining that an action performed with the second feature satisfies the first condition for activation of the first feature.
