Abstract

Disclosed herein are a method for providing a virtual keyboard service that pays a cryptocurrency reward in consideration of an association between a keyboard NFT and a word NFT and an apparatus therefor. The use of a virtual keyboard by a user having a keyboard NFT may be monitored based on an application, the ability of the keyboard NFT may be measured in consideration of the attribute of the keyboard NFT that changes depending on the amount of usage of the virtual keyboard and the amount of usage of a word of a word NFT mapped to the user, an amount of cryptocurrency corresponding to the ability of the keyboard NFT may be mined while the virtual keyboard is being used, and the mined cryptocurrency may be paid to the user as a reward.

Claims (30)

1 . A method for providing a virtual keyboard service, comprising:

obtaining, by a computing device, a first keyboard non-fungible token (NFT) and a second keyboard NFT, the first keyboard NFT associated with a first virtual keyboard activated on a user terminal and the second keyboard NFT associated with a second virtual keyboard activated on the user terminal, the computing device comprising one or more processors, memory and a communication circuit configured to communicate with the user terminal via a network;

setting, by the computing device, a success probability of minting a third keyboard NFT by combining the first keyboard NFT and the second keyboard NFT;

receiving, by the computing device, an attempt to mint the third keyboard NFT from the user terminal, wherein the attempt comprises:

verifying possession of two different types of keyboard NFTs by a user of the user terminal, and

deducting a predetermined amount of cryptocurrency from a wallet of the user to perform the minting attempt;

minting, by the computing device, the third keyboard NFT in response to successful attempt to mint the third NFT according to the success probability;

monitoring, by the computing device, use of a third virtual keyboard associated with the third keyboard NFT through an application executed on the user terminal;

determining, by the computing device, a capability of the third keyboard NFT according to an attribute of the third keyboard NFT that changes depending on an amount of usage of the third virtual keyboard and an amount of usage of a word of a word NFT mapped to the user;

mining, by the computing device, an amount of cryptocurrency corresponding to the capability of the third keyboard NFT while the third virtual keyboard is being used on the user terminal; and

paying the mined cryptocurrency to the user as a reward.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the attribute of the third keyboard NFT includes efficiency, which is a positive attribute having a value increasing depending on the amount of usage, and durability, which is a negative attribute having a value decreasing depending on the amount of usage,

the durability decreases with an increase in the amount of usage, and

a rate of decrease in the durability decreases with an increase in the amount of usage of a word.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein:

the capability of the third keyboard NFT corresponds to a value acquired by applying a percentage of current remaining durability, which is calculated based on a default value of the durability, to the amount of usage of the third virtual keyboard multiplied by the efficiency, and

an amount of cryptocurrency corresponding to the capability of the third keyboard NFT is mined at each preset unit time while the third virtual keyboard is being used.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein:

the efficiency is increased using stat points that are given when a level of the third keyboard NFT is raised based on experience points that are provided to correspond to the amount of usage, and

the durability decreases with an increase in the amount of usage, but is restored to the default value when cryptocurrency is paid for restoring the durability.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a maximum number of word NFTs capable of being mapped is set depending on a grade of the third keyboard NFT.

6 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:

enhancing the third keyboard NFT in consideration of a number of times available for enhancement, which is given to correspond to a grade of the third keyboard NFT, and of a preset probability of success of enhancement when cryptocurrency is paid for enhancing the third keyboard NFT; and

increasing a default value of the attribute of the third keyboard NFT when enhancing the third keyboard NFT succeeds.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the number of times available for enhancement and a maximum number of word NFTs capable of being mapped increase as the grade of the third keyboard NFT is higher.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

minting a new word NFT by combining the word NFT with another word NFT.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein a probability of successfully minting the new word NFT is predetermined.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the probability of successfully minting the new word NFT is different from a probability of successfully minting the third keyboard NFT.
