Artificial intelligence and machine learning enhanced betting odds method, system, and apparatus
Embodiments include utilizing artificial intelligence and/or machine learning to produce sports analytics based on historical score data for specific teams, players, events, or other relevant data. Machine learning can be applied to the historical data in order to improve the betting odds. Correlations between event outcomes and available parameters can be analyzed in advance and in real time by an odds module to give accurate and up-to-date odds.
1 . A method for generating and adjusting odds, comprising:
receiving, by a processor, statistical information of a live event in real time, wherein the processor is configured to perform real time analysis of the live event;
storing, automatically, results of an action in the live event in a historic action database immediately following occurrence of the action in the live event;
detecting situational data of the live event with one or more sensors at the live event, the situational data comprising a first action, at least one intermediate action, and an upcoming action;
wherein the at least one intermediate action comprises player movement data that is sensed and tracked between the first action and the upcoming action;
determining and filtering data, in real time during the live event, in the historic action database related to the detected situational data that matches the upcoming action in the live event, wherein the upcoming action is subsequent to the action, wherein the situational data comprises outputs of at least two data feeds, wherein at least one data feed in the at least two data feeds is associated with at least one sensor of the live event, wherein determining and filtering the data comprises synchronizing each of the at least two data feeds, and wherein the at least one sensor of the live event is configured to sense at least one player movement of the live event;
determining first wager odds for an outcome of the upcoming action based on the filtered data;
continuously displaying the determined first wager odds as a result of the first action;
updating the situational data based on the at least one data feed received from the at least one sensor of the live event in real time during the live event, prior to a start of the upcoming action;
determining correlations of the situational data and the first wager odds of the action;
outputting second wager odds based on the correlation of the situational data and the first wager odds of the upcoming action prior to the start of the upcoming action, wherein the second wager odds are outputted after the correlation of the situational data exceeds a predetermined threshold; and
continuously displaying the second wager odds on a live video feed after the first action, before the upcoming action, and as a result of the at least one intermediate action;
wherein position of the displayed second wager odds is updated to correspond to movement of the at least one player;
ceasing display of the second wager odds as a result of the upcoming action; and
wherein determination of the occurrence of the action in the live event is based on a determination of player movement in the live event by the at least one sensor of the live event.
2 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , wherein the situational data is determined based on wager history.
3 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , further comprising automatically prompting data integrity testing upon the determination of the situational data.
4 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , further comprising displaying the second adjusted wager odds.
5 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , wherein the situational data comprises non-gameplay data of the event.
6 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 5 , wherein the non-gameplay data is at least one of location of the live event and weather conditions at the live event.
7 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , further comprising receiving sensor data regarding at least one of real-time positioning of players and positioning of a ball used in the live event.
8 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , wherein the sensor data is retrieved from one or more wearable devices on one or more players in the live event and/or the sensor data is retrieved from a sensor on equipment used in the live event.
9 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is a camera.
10 . A method for generating and adjusting odds, comprising:
receiving, by a processor, statistical information of a live event in real time, wherein the processor is configured to perform real time analysis of the live event;
storing the results of an action in the live event in a historic action database,
determining and filtering data, in real time during the live event, in the historic action database related to situational data that matches an upcoming action in the live event, wherein the upcoming action is subsequent to the action, wherein the situational data comprises outputs of at least two data feeds, wherein at least one data feed in the at least two data feeds is associated with at least one sensor of the live event, wherein determining and filtering the data comprises synchronizing each of the at least two data feeds, and wherein the at least one sensor of the live event is configured to sense at least one player movement of the live event;
determining odds for an outcome of the upcoming action based on the filtered data;
updating the situational data based on the at least one data feed received from the at least one sensor of the live event in real time during the live event, prior to a start of the upcoming action;
determining a correlation of the situational data and the odds of the upcoming action;
recalculating odds based on the correlation of the situational data and the odds of the upcoming action prior to the start of the upcoming action, wherein the odds are recalculated after the correlation exceeds a predetermined threshold; and
continuously displaying the recalculated odds on a live video feed after the action and before the upcoming action, wherein position of the displayed recalculated odds is updated to correspond to movement of the at least one player;
wherein determination of the occurrence of the action in the live event is based on a determination of player movement in the live event by the at least one sensor of the live event.
11 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 10 , further comprising, after the recalculation of the wager odds, outputting the wager odds.
12 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 10 , further comprising, after the recalculation of the wager odds, transmitting the wager odds.
13 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 10 , further comprising receiving sensor data regarding at least one of real-time positioning of players and positioning of a ball used in the live event.
14 . The method for generating and adjusting odds of claim 10 , wherein the sensor data is retrieved from one or more wearable devices on one or more players in the live event and/or the sensor data is retrieved from a sensor on equipment used in the live event.
15 . A method, comprising:
receiving, by a processor, statistical information of a live event in real time, wherein the processor is configured to perform real time analysis of the live event;
storing, automatically, results of an action in the live event in a historic action database;
determining and filtering data, in real time during the live event, in the historic action database related to situational data that matches an upcoming action in the live event, wherein the upcoming action is subsequent to the action, wherein the situational data comprises outputs of at least two data feeds, wherein at least one data feed in the at least two data feeds is associated with at least one sensor of the live event, wherein determining and filtering the data comprises synchronizing each of the at least two data feeds, and wherein the at least one sensor of the live event is configured to sense at least one player movement of the live event;
determining first wager odds for an outcome of the upcoming action based on the filtered data;
updating the situational data based on the at least one data feed received from the at least one sensor of the live event in real time during the live event, prior to a start of the upcoming action;
determining a correlation of the situational data and the first wager odds of the upcoming action; and
outputting second wager odds based on the correlation of the situational data and the first wager odds of the upcoming action prior to the start of the upcoming action, wherein the second wager odds are outputted after and based on a change in the situational data;
continuously displaying the second wager odds on a live video feed prior to the start of the upcoming action, wherein position of the displayed second wager odds is updated to correspond to movement of the at least one player;
wherein determination of the occurrence of the action in the live event is based on a determination of player movement in the live event by the at least one sensor of the live event.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the sensor is a camera.
