Method and apparatus for providing notification
An electronic including a transceiver configured to receive, from at least one wearable device, information indicating whether the at least one wearable device is being worn; and a processor configured to determine whether the at least one wearable device that is being worn, based on the received information indicating whether the at least one wearable device is being worn, and to provide a notification to the at least one wearable device in response to determining that the at least one wearable device is being worn.
1 . An electronic device comprising:
a transceiver configured to wirelessly communicate with a plurality of wearable devices; and
at least one processor configured to:
receive, from the plurality of wearable devices via the transceiver, first information indicating that each of the plurality of wearable devices is being worn by a user, wherein the plurality of wearable devices include a first wearable device and a second wearable device,
based on the received first information, select the first wearable device and the second wearable device for transmitting notification information,
transmit, via the transceiver, the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device,
receive, via the transceiver, second information from one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the second information indicating that the notification information has been checked at the one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, and
based on the second information, transmit, via the transceiver, third information to a remaining one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the third information indicating that the notification information has been checked.
2 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first information includes usage states of each of the plurality of wearable devices, wherein the usage states indicates whether each of the plurality of wearable devices is in use.

The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to, based on determining that neither the first wearable device nor the second wearable device is being worn before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, suspend transmission of the notification information until detecting that at least one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device is being worn.
4 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to: before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, determine whether the notification information is permitted to be provided to the first wearable device or the second wearable device while a function is being performed by the one of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and transmit the notification information based on determining that the notification information is permitted.

The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to: before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, obtain, via the transceiver, information regarding remaining charge capacities of batteries of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and transmit the notification information to at least one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device based on the respective remaining charge capacity being equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
6 . The electronic device of claim 1 , further comprising: a sensor configured to sense a state of the electronic device, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: obtain, via the transceiver, information regarding states of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and
based on at least one of the state of the electronic device, the state of the first wearable device, or the state of the second wearable device, determine a form of providing the notification information at least one of the electronic device, the first wearable device or the second wearable device.

The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to transform a notification request protocol for the notification information based on at least one of an operating system or a protocol of the first wearable device or the second wearable device to which the notification information is to be transmitted.
8 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to: based on receiving the second information indicating that the notification information has been checked at the one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, control to stop providing the notification information at the electronic device and the remaining one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device.
9 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to, based on the notification information being checked at the electronic device, transmit the third information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device.
10 . A method of providing notifications in an electronic device and a plurality of wearable devices capable of wirelessly communicating with the electronic device, the method comprising:
receiving, from the plurality of wearable devices, first information indicating that each of the plurality of wearable devices is being worn by a user, wherein the plurality of wearable devices include a first wearable device and a second wearable device;
based on the received first information, selecting the first wearable device and the second wearable device for transmitting notification information;
transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device;
receiving second information from one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the second information indicating that the notification information has been checked at the one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device; and
based on the second information, transmitting third information to a remaining one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the third information indicating that the notification information has been checked.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the first information includes usage states of each of the plurality of wearable devices, wherein the usage states indicates whether each of the plurality of wearable devices is in use.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising, based on determining that neither the first wearable device nor the second wearable device is being worn before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, suspending transmission of the notification information until detecting that at least one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device is being worn.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, determining whether the notification information is permitted to be provided to the first wearable device or the second wearable device while a function is being performed by the one of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and
transmitting the notification information based on determining that the notification information is permitted.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
before transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device, obtaining information regarding remaining charge capacities of batteries of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and
transmitting the notification information to at least one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device based on the respective remaining charge capacity being equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
15 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising:
sensing a state of the electronic device, by a sensor of the electronic device,
obtaining information regarding states of the first wearable device and the second wearable device; and
based on at least one of the state of the electronic device, the state of the first wearable device, or the state of the second wearable device, determining a form of providing the notification information at least one of the electronic device, the first wearable device or the second wearable device.

The method of claim 10 , further comprising transforming a notification request protocol for the notification information based on at least one of an operating system or a protocol of the first wearable device or the second wearable device to which the notification information is to be transmitted.
17 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising, based on receiving the second information indicating that the notification information has been checked at the one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, controlling to stop providing the notification information at the electronic device and the remaining one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device.
18 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising, based on the notification information being checked at the electronic device, transmitting the third information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device.
19 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having recorded thereon a computer program, which, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to execute a method comprising:
receiving, from a plurality of wearable devices, first information indicating that each of the plurality of wearable devices is being worn by a user, wherein the plurality of wearable devices include a first wearable device and a second wearable device;
based on the received first information, selecting the first wearable device and the second wearable device for transmitting notification information;
transmitting the notification information to the first wearable device and the second wearable device;
receiving second information from one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the second information indicating that the notification information has been checked at the one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device; and
based on the second information, transmitting third information to a remaining one of the first wearable device or the second wearable device, the third information indicating that the notification information has been checked.
