Child carrier
A child carrier is provided and includes a booster seat and a leg assembly. The booster seat includes a plurality of leg engaging structures. The leg assembly is detachably connected to the booster seat. The leg assembly includes an upper support and a lower support. The upper support includes a plurality of upper legs. Each of the plurality of upper legs is detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of leg engaging structures. The lower support includes a plurality of lower legs. Each of the plurality of lower legs is detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of upper legs.
1 . A child carrier comprising:
a booster seat comprising a plurality of leg engaging structures;
a leg assembly detachably connected to the booster seat, the leg assembly comprising:
an upper support comprising a plurality of upper legs, each of the plurality of upper legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of leg engaging structures; and
a lower support comprising a plurality of lower legs, each of the plurality of lower legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of upper legs, and wherein each of the plurality of lower legs comprises a first segment and a second segment detachably installed on the first segment;
a leg releasing assembly for allowing or restraining movement of the plurality of upper legs relative to the booster seat; and
a segment releasing assembly for allowing or restraining a movement of each second segment relative to the respective first segment, the segment releasing assembly comprising a plurality of segment engaging components and a plurality of segment engaging slot structures;
wherein the child carrier further comprises a seatback detachably installed on the booster seat, and the seatback is rotatable relative to the booster seat, and
wherein the seatback comprises a pivoting protrusion and a retaining rib, a first slot and a second slot communicated with the first slot are formed on the booster seat, the pivoting protrusion and the retaining rib are accommodated in the first slot when the seatback is located at an unused position relative to the booster seat, and the pivoting protrusion and at least a portion of the retaining rib are respectively accommodated in the first slot and the second slot when the seatback is located at a used position relative to the booster seat.

The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the child carrier is in a high chair mode when the plurality of lower legs are connected to the plurality of upper legs and the plurality of upper legs are connected to the plurality of leg engaging structures, the child carrier is in a youth chair mode when the plurality of upper legs are connected to the plurality of leg engaging structures and the plurality of lower legs are detached from the plurality of upper legs, and the child carrier is in a booster mode when the plurality of upper legs are detached from the booster seat to separate the leg assembly from the booster seat.

The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of segment engaging slot structure are respectively formed on the second segments of the plurality of lower legs, and the plurality of segment engaging components are respectively movably disposed on the first segments of the plurality of lower legs and for engaging with or disengaging from the plurality of segment engaging slot structures.
4 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the leg assembly further comprises a wheel rotatably disposed on at least one of the second segments.
5 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein two of the second segments are connected to each other to cooperatively form a U-shaped structure.
6 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the child carrier further comprises a support releasing assembly for allowing or restraining a movement of the lower support relative to the upper support.
7 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the child carrier further comprises:
a leg rest detachably installed on the upper support; and
a leg rest releasing assembly for allowing or restraining a movement of the leg rest relative to the upper support.
8 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the child carrier further comprises:
a tray detachably installed on the booster seat; and
a tray releasing assembly for allowing or restraining a movement of the tray relative to the booster seat.
9 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the child carrier further comprises a guiding portion for guiding a movement of the lower support relative to the upper support or a movement of the upper support relative to the booster seat.
10 . The child carrier of claim 1 , wherein the leg releasing assembly comprises a plurality of leg engaging components and a plurality of leg engaging slot structures, the plurality of leg engaging components are movably disposed on the plurality of upper legs, respectively, and the plurality of leg engaging slot structures are formed on the plurality of leg engaging structures, respectively.
11 . A child carrier comprising:
a booster seat comprising a plurality of leg engaging structures; and
a leg assembly detachably connected to the booster seat, the leg assembly comprising:
an upper support comprising a plurality of upper legs, each of the plurality of upper legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of leg engaging structures; and
a lower support comprising a plurality of lower legs, each of the plurality of lower legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of upper legs;
wherein the child carrier further comprises a seatback detachably installed on the booster seat, and the seatback is rotatable relative to the booster seat, and
wherein the seatback comprises a pivoting protrusion and a retaining rib, a first slot and a second slot communicated with the first slot are formed on the booster seat, the pivoting protrusion and the retaining rib are accommodated in the first slot when the seatback is located at an unused position relative to the booster seat, and the pivoting protrusion and at least a portion of the retaining rib are respectively accommodated in the first slot and the second slot when the seatback is located at a used position relative to the booster seat.
12 . The child carrier of claim 11 , wherein the child carrier further comprises a seatback restraining assembly for allowing or restraining separation of the seatback and the booster seat.
13 . The child carrier of claim 11 , wherein the pivoting protrusion is a cylinder-shaped structure.
14 . The child carrier of claim 11 , wherein the retaining rib is an arc-shaped structure.
15 . The child carrier of claim 11 , wherein the child carrier further comprises a seatback releasing assembly for allowing or restraining a rotary movement of the seatback relative to the booster seat.
16 . A child carrier comprising:
a booster seat comprising a plurality of leg engaging structures;
a leg assembly detachably connected to the booster seat, the leg assembly comprising:
an upper support comprising a plurality of upper legs, each of the plurality of upper legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of leg engaging structures; and
a lower support comprising a plurality of lower legs, each of the plurality of lower legs being detachably connected to a respective one of the plurality of upper legs; and
a leg releasing assembly for allowing or restraining movement of the plurality of upper legs relative to the booster seat,
wherein the leg releasing assembly comprises a plurality of leg engaging components and a plurality of leg engaging slot structures, the plurality of leg engaging components are movably disposed on the plurality of upper legs, respectively, and the plurality of leg engaging slot structures are formed on the plurality of leg engaging structures, respectively, and
wherein an inclined surface is formed on each of the plurality of leg engaging components, such that each of the plurality of leg engaging components is pressed by the engaging slot structure during insertion of the corresponding upper leg into the booster seat,
wherein the child carrier further comprises a seatback detachably installed on the booster seat, and the seatback is rotatable relative to the booster seat, and
wherein the seatback comprises a pivoting protrusion and a retaining rib, a first slot and a second slot communicated with the first slot are formed on the booster seat, the pivoting protrusion and the retaining rib are accommodated in the first slot when the seatback is located at an unused position relative to the booster seat, and the pivoting protrusion and at least a portion of the retaining rib are respectively accommodated in the first slot and the second slot when the seatback is located at a used position relative to the booster seat.
17 . The child carrier of claim 16 , wherein the booster seat is a one-piece molded structure, and wherein the booster seat defines the plurality of leg engaging structures.
18 . The child carrier of claim 16 , wherein the child carrier is in a high chair mode when the plurality of lower legs are connected to the plurality of upper legs and the plurality of upper legs are connected to the plurality of leg engaging structures, the child carrier is in a youth chair mode when the plurality of upper legs are connected to the plurality of leg engaging structures and the plurality of lower legs are detached from the plurality of upper legs, and the child carrier is in a booster mode when the plurality of upper legs are detached from the booster seat to separate the leg assembly from the booster seat.
