Claims (13)

. A tetravalent vaccine that comprises about 45 μg to about 150 μg of at least one high-dose influenza virus antigen, wherein the tetravalent vaccine enhances an immune response in an immunocompromised subject who is 65 years or older.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one high-dose influenza virus antigen is present in an amount ranging from two-fold and ten-fold the amount of a standard dose antigen.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine is an influenza vaccine comprising four influenza virus antigens.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine comprises about 60 μg to about 150 μg of the at least one high-dose influenza virus antigen per strain.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine comprises about 60 μg of the at least one high-dose influenza virus antigen per strain.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine comprises an H1N1 strain, an H3N2 strain, a B strain, or any combination thereof.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the subject is immunocompromised following administration of at least one statin, at least one NSAID, at least one chemotherapeutic, or at least one immunosuppressing agent.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 1 , wherein the subject is immunocompromised following administration of at least one immunosuppressing agent administered following organ transplant.

. A tetravalent vaccine that comprises about 60 μg of at least one influenza virus antigen per strain, wherein the tetravalent vaccine enhances an immune response in an immunocompromised subject who is 65 years or older.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 9 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine is an influenza vaccine comprising four influenza virus antigens.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 9 , wherein the tetravalent vaccine comprises an H1N1 strain, an H3N2 strain, a B strain, or any combination thereof.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 9 , wherein the subject is immunocompromised following administration of at least one statin, at least one NSAID, at least one chemotherapeutic, or at least one immunosuppressing agent.

. The tetravalent vaccine according to claim 9 , wherein the subject is immunocompromised following administration of at least one immunosuppressing agent administered following organ transplant.
