Image processing apparatus, image processing method, storage medium, and image display control system
An image processing apparatus that causes an image to be displayed includes a selection unit configured to select at least one image from among a plurality of images, a display control unit configured to cause the image selected by the selection unit to be displayed, a change unit configured to change a display attribute of the image displayed by the display control unit, and an acquisition unit configured to, if the display attribute is changed by the change unit, acquire a high-resolution image of the image whose display attribute is changed, wherein upon completion of acquisition of the high-resolution image by the acquisition unit, the display control unit causes the high-resolution image to be displayed.
1 . An image processing apparatus that causes an image to be displayed, the image processing apparatus comprising:
one or more processors; and
one or more memories storing instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to perform:
obtaining a plurality of low-resolution images from an external apparatus via a network;
causing a plurality of low-resolution images to be displayed;
selecting an image from the plurality of low-resolution images based on a user selecting instruction;
causing the selected image to be displayed in a predetermined size;
receiving a user enlarging instruction for the selected image being displayed;
starting to acquire a high-resolution image associated with the selected image from the external apparatus after the user enlarging instruction is received; and
causing the high-resolution image to be enlarged and displayed at a position where the selected image is displayed after the acquisition of the high-resolution image is completed based on the user enlarging instruction.
2 . The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the user enlarging instruction is based on at least one operation of a click operation, a pinch-in, a pinch-out, a change in line of sight, and a change in open and close states of eyelids.
3 . The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of low-resolution images is sequentially displayed in response to a swipe operation by a user.
4 . The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the high-resolution image is acquired from the external apparatus via a network.
5 . An image processing method for causing an image to be displayed, the image processing method comprising:
obtaining a plurality of low-resolution images from an external apparatus via a network;
causing a plurality of low-resolution images to be displayed;
selecting an image from the plurality of low-resolution images based on a user selecting instruction;
causing the selected image to be displayed in a predetermined size;
receiving a user enlarging instruction for the selected image being displayed;
starting to acquire a high-resolution image associated with the selected image from the external apparatus after the user enlarging instruction is received; and
causing the high-resolution image to be enlarged and displayed at a position where the selected image is displayed after the acquisition of the high-resolution image is completed based on the user enlarging instruction.
6 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a method for displaying an image, the method comprising:
obtaining a plurality of low-resolution images from an external apparatus via a network;
causing a plurality of low-resolution images to be displayed;
selecting an image from the plurality of low-resolution images based on a user selecting instruction;
causing the selected image to be displayed in a predetermined size;
receiving a user enlarging instruction for the selected image being displayed;
starting to acquire a high-resolution image associated with the selected image from the external apparatus after the user enlarging instruction is received; and
causing the high-resolution image to be enlarged and displayed at a position where the selected image is displayed after the acquisition of the high-resolution image is completed based on the user enlarging instruction.
