Joint reporting and UCI multiplexing of HARQ-ACK with different priorities and SR
A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes a processor configured to determine an uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing order for hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) with different priorities and scheduling request (SR). The processor is also configured to multiplex the HARQ-ACK and the SR. The UE also includes transmitting circuitry configured to transmit the multiplexed HARQ-ACK and SR on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH).
1 . A user equipment (UE), comprising:
a processor configured to:
identify an overlapping between a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission with high priority hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) and a second PUCCH transmission with low priority HARQ-ACK,
identify an overlapping between the first PUCCH transmission and at least one transmission occasion for a high priority scheduling request (SR),
determine an uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing order for HARQ-ACK with different priorities and the high priority SR, wherein:
the high priority SR is appended to the high priority HARQ-ACK, and then appended by the low priority HARQ-ACK, and
the UCI multiplexing order is such that the high-priority HARQ-ACK is multiplexed first, the high-priority SR is multiplexed second, and the low-priority HARQ-ACK is multiplexed last, and
multiplex the high priority HARQ-ACK, the high priority SR, and the low priority HARQ-ACK on a PUCCH resource based on the UCI multiplexing order; and
transmitting circuitry configured to transmit multiplexed high priority HARQ-ACK, high priority SR and low priority HARQ-ACK bits on the PUCCH resource.
2 . A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
identifying an overlapping between a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission with high priority hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) and a second PUCCH transmission with low priority HARQ-ACK;
identifying an overlapping between the first PUCCH transmission and at least one transmission occasion for a high priority scheduling request (SR),
determining an uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing order for HARQ-ACK with different priorities and the high priority SR, wherein:
the high priority SR is appended to the high priority HARQ-ACK, and then appended by the low priority HARQ-ACK, and
the UCI multiplexing order is such that the high-priority HARQ-ACK is multiplexed first, the high-priority SR is multiplexed second, and the low-priority HARQ-ACK is multiplexed last;
multiplexing the high priority HARQ-ACK, the high priority SR, and the low priority HARQ-ACK on PUCCH resource based on the UCI multiplexing order; and
transmitting multiplexed high priority HARQ-ACK, high priority SR and low priority HARQ-ACK bits on the PUCCH resource.
