Abstract

The invention relates to a method for configuring a user equipment, comprising the steps of a) accessing user related information, preferably account information, on the user equipment, b) transmitting the user related information to a dedicated configuration server, c) matching the user related information to a specific configuration information, d) upon matching, transmitting the configuration information to the user equipment, e) configuring the user equipment with the configuration information, and wherein initiation of the steps a)-e) is performed by a one-touch-client and wherein the configuration server is provided as a one-touch-server. The invention also relates to a system for configuring a user equipment.

Claims (27)

1 . A method for a first device comprising:

receiving by the first device, from a second device, device related information of the second device by using short distance communication;

displaying, on a display of the first device, an indication and a first icon, wherein the indication corresponds to the second device, wherein the first icon corresponds to the second device; and

displaying, on the display of the first device, a second icon related to configuration information of the second device; and

wherein in response to the first icon being touched, the first device initiates a procedure to start a transmission, to the second device, of the configuration information of the second device by using the short distance communication, and wherein in response to the second icon being touched, the first device does not transmit the configuration information of the second device, to the second device.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first device is a mobile device and the second device is another mobile device.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the short distance communication includes near-field-communication.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first icon is touched using a one-touch gesture.

5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the indication is a photograph.

6 . The method according to claim 1 , comprising:

displaying account information.

7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the indication is displayed based on the device related information of the second device.

8 . A first device comprising:

a memory; and

at least one processor configured to access the memory and configured to:

receive by the first device, from a second device, device related information of the second device by using short distance communication;

display, on a display of the first device, an indication and a first icon, wherein the indication corresponds to the second device, wherein the first icon corresponds to the second device; and

display, on the display of the first device, a second icon related to configuration information of the second device,

wherein in response to the first icon being touched, the first device initiates a procedure to start a transmission, to the second device, of the configuration information of the second device by using the short distance communication, and wherein in response to the second icon being touched, the first device does not transmit the configuration information of the second device to the second device.

9 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the indication is a photograph.

10 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to display account information.

11 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the indication is displayed based on the device related information of the second device.

12 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the first device is a mobile device and the second device is another mobile device.

13 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the short distance communication includes near-field-communication.

14 . The first device according to claim 8 , wherein the first icon is touched using a one-touch gesture.

15 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the account information is account information of the first device.

16 . The first device according to claim 10 , wherein the account information is account information of the first device.
