Abstract

A surgical collection having a primary surgical kit, the primary surgical kit comprising at least one first surgical implement and a primary wrap, the primary wrap comprising a first visible coding; a secondary surgical kit, the secondary surgical kit comprising at least one second surgical implement and a secondary wrap, the secondary wrap comprising a second visible coding; and an outer wrap, wherein the primary surgical kit and the secondary surgical kit are at least partially contained within the outer wrap.

Claims (54)

1 . A surgical collection comprising:

a primary surgical kit, the primary surgical kit comprising at least one first surgical implement for a first procedure and a primary wrap, the primary wrap comprising a first visible coding;

contained within the primary surgical kit, a secondary surgical kit, the secondary surgical kit comprising at least one second surgical implement for a second procedure, wherein the second procedure is a closing procedure, and a secondary wrap, the secondary wrap comprising a second visible coding; and

wherein said primary wrap is a surgical drape.

2 . The surgical collection of claim 1 , wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first color; and

the second visible coding comprises a second color.

3 . The surgical collection of claim 1 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color.

4 . The surgical collection of claim 1 , wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

5 . The surgical collection of claim 1 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color and wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

6 . The surgical collection of claim 1 wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first printed pattern; and

the second visible coding comprises a second printed pattern.

7 . The surgical collection of claim 1 wherein the secondary surgical kit contains at least a basin, a wrap, and a stand cover.

8 . A surgical collection comprising:

a primary surgical kit, the primary surgical kit comprising at least one first surgical implement for a first procedure and a primary wrap, the primary wrap comprising a first visible coding;

a second surgical kit, the secondary surgical kit comprising at least one second surgical implement for a second procedure, wherein the first procedure is performed before the second procedure, and a secondary wrap, the secondary wrap comprising a second visible coding;

an outer wrap, wherein the primary surgical kit and the secondary surgical kit are at least partially contained within the outer wrap;

at least third surgical implement, wherein the at least third surgical implement is contained within the outer wrap and outside of the primary surgical kit and second surgical kit; and

wherein said outer wrap is a surgical drape.

9 . The surgical collection of claim 8 wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first color; and

the second visible coding comprises a second color.

10 . The surgical collection of claim 8 wherein said outer wrap comprises a third color.

11 . The surgical collection of claim 8 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color.

12 . The surgical collection of claim 8 , wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

13 . The surgical collection of claim 8 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color and wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

14 . The surgical collection of claim 8 wherein the secondary surgical kit contains at least a basin, a wrap, and a stand cover.

15 . A surgical collection comprising:

a primary surgical kit, the primary surgical kit comprising at least one first surgical implement for a first procedure and a primary wrap, the primary wrap comprising a first visible coding;

contained within the primary surgical kit, a secondary surgical kit, the secondary surgical kit comprising at least one second surgical implement for a second procedure, wherein the second procedure is a closing procedure, and a secondary wrap, the secondary wrap comprising a second visible coding; and

wherein the secondary surgical kit contains at least a basin, a wrap, and a stand cover.

16 . The surgical collection of claim 15 , wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first color; and

the second visible coding comprises a second color.

17 . The surgical collection of claim 15 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color.

18 . The surgical collection of claim 15 , wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

19 . The surgical collection of claim 15 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color and wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

20 . The surgical collection of claim 15 wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first printed pattern; and

the second visible coding comprises a second printed pattern.

21 . A surgical collection comprising:

a primary surgical kit, the primary surgical kit comprising at least one first surgical implement for a first procedure and a primary wrap, the primary wrap comprising a first visible coding;

a second surgical kit, the secondary surgical kit comprising at least one second surgical implement for a second procedure, wherein the first procedure is performed before the second procedure, and a secondary wrap, the secondary wrap comprising a second visible coding;

an outer wrap, wherein the primary surgical kit and the secondary surgical kit are at least partially contained within the outer wrap;

at least third surgical implement, wherein the at least third surgical implement is contained within the outer wrap and outside of the primary surgical kit and second surgical kit; and

wherein the secondary surgical kit contains at least a basin, a wrap, and a stand cover.

22 . The surgical collection of claim 21 wherein:

the first visible coding comprises a first color; and

the second visible coding comprises a second color.

23 . The surgical collection of claim 21 wherein said outer wrap comprises a third color.

24 . The surgical collection of claim 21 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color.

25 . The surgical collection of claim 21 , wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.

26 . The surgical collection of claim 21 , wherein said at least one first surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the first color and wherein said at least one second surgical implement comprises, at least in part, the second color.
