5 . The headset of claim 1 , wherein the at least one display screen provides the golfer a 360 degree view of a virtual golf hole.

6 . The headset of claim 5 , wherein the 360 degree view of the virtual golf hole is from a point of reference where a virtual golf ball landed on the virtual golf hole.

7 . The headset of claim 1 , wherein the at least one display screen is configured to display course information relating to a virtual golf hole.

8 . The headset of claim 1 , wherein the at least one display screen includes a left display screen corresponding to one of the golfer's eyes and a right display screen corresponding to the other of the golfer's eyes.

9 . The headset of claim 1 , which includes a processor configured to cause the virtual portion of the golf game to be displayed on the at least one display screen.

10 . The headset of claim 1 , which includes a data transmission device configured to be placed in communication with a physical system for playing the physical portion of the golf game.

11 . The headset of claim 1 , wherein the headset is configured to instruct the golfer where to place the golf ball for the next shot by displaying the image of a ball or location on the at least one display screen.

12 . A headset for a golf game that combines a virtual portion and a physical portion, the headset comprising:

a frame configured to be positioned on a golfer's head, the frame including at least one lens;

at least one display screen corresponding to the at least one lens, the at least one display screen configured to display the virtual portion of the golf game to the golfer while the golfer plays the physical portion of the golf game; and

a motion sensor configured to determine an orientation or directional position of the headset,

the at least one display screen configured to alternate between different modes based on information from the motion sensor regarding the orientation or directional position of the headset.

13 . The headset of claim 12 , which is configured to use the motion sensor to place the at least one display screen in a transparent mode when the golfer is looking downwardly and in a virtual mode when the golfer is looking outwardly.

14 . The headset of claim 12 , wherein the motion sensor includes one or both of a gyroscope or an accelerometer.

15 . The headset of claim 12 , wherein the at least one display screen is configured to alternate between a transparent mode and a virtual mode based on information from the motion sensor regarding the orientation or directional position of the headset.

16 . The headset of claim 12 , comprising at least one button configured to further cause the at least one display screen to alternate between the different modes.

17 . A headset for a golf game that combines a virtual portion and a physical portion, the headset comprising:

a frame configured to be positioned on a golfer's head, the frame including at least one lens; and

at least one display screen corresponding to the at least one lens, the at least one display screen configured to display the virtual portion of the golf game to the golfer while the golfer plays the physical portion of the golf game,
