Abstract

Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to provide emotion-based experience adjustment. In at least one embodiment, one or more neural networks are used to adjust one or more properties of one or more games based on an emotional state of a user.

Claims (31)

1 . A processor, comprising:

one or more circuits to:

collect sensor data corresponding to a user and obtained using one or more sensors during at least one user interaction with one or more games;

use one or more neural networks to infer an emotional state of the user based, at least in part, on the collected sensor data for the user;

determine a respective genre of the one or more games; and

adjust one or more properties of one or more games based on the inferred emotional state of the user and a predicted impact of the respective genre of the one or more games on the inferred emotional state of the user.

2 . The processor of claim 1 , wherein the one or more properties of the one or more games comprise at least one of a difficulty of the one or more games or adjustment of content included in the one or more games.

3 . The processor of claim 1 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more facial expressions of the user.

4 . The processor of claim 1 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more sounds made by the user.

5 . The processor of claim 1 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more vital signs of the user.

6 . The processor of claim 1 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on a gameplay history of the user.

7 . A system, comprising:

one or more processors to:

collect sensor data corresponding to a user and obtained using one or more sensors during at least one user interaction with one or more games;

use one or more neural networks to infer an emotional state of the user based, at least in part, on the collected sensor data for the user;

determine a respective genre of the one or more games; and

adjust one or more properties of one or more games based on the inferred emotional state of the user and a predicted impact of the respective genre of the one or more games on the inferred emotional state of the user.

8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the one or more properties of the one or more games comprise at least one of a difficulty of the one or more games or adjustment of content included in the one or more games.

9 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more facial expressions of the user.

10 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more sounds made by the user.

11 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more vital signs of the user.

12 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on a gameplay history of the user.

13 . A method, comprising:

collecting sensor data corresponding to a user and obtained using one or more sensors during at least one user interaction with one or more games;

using one or more neural networks to infer an emotional state of the user based, at least in part, on the collected sensor data for the user;

determining a respective genre of the one or more games; and

adjusting one or more properties of one or more games based on the inferred emotional state of the user and a predicted impact of the respective genre of the one or more games on the inferred emotional state of the user.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the one or more properties of the one or more games comprise at least one of a difficulty of the one or more games or adjustment of content included in the one or more games.

15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more facial expressions of the user.

16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on one or more sounds made by the user.

17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the emotional state of the user is inferred by the one or more neural networks based on a gameplay history of the user.
