Abstract

The present disclosure provides a laminate having low air permeability and excellent moisture permeability, a partition member for total heat exchange element composed of the laminate, a total heat exchange element provided with a plurality of the partition members for total heat exchange element, and a ventilation device provided with the total heat exchange element. The laminate of the present disclosure is provided with a porous substrate and a moisture-permeable membrane disposed on one side of the porous substrate, the moisture-permeable membrane being provided with a porous substrate and a moisture-permeable membrane disposed on at least one side of the porous substrate, and the moisture-permeable membrane being formed of a thermoplastic copolymer having a side chain containing a hydrophilic group which is a functional group.

Claims (21)

1 . A laminate comprising a porous substrate and a moisture-permeable membrane disposed on at least one side of the porous substrate, the moisture-permeable membrane comprising a thermoplastic copolymer having a side chain containing a hydrophilic group which is a functional group,

wherein the hydrophilic group is a betaine group.

2 . The laminate according to claim 1 , wherein the copolymer further contains a hydrophobic functional group in a side chain.

3 . The laminate according to claim 2 , wherein the copolymer is a copolymer comprising: a constituent unit represented by Formula (1) as a constituent unit having the side chain containing the betaine group; and a constituent unit represented by Formula (2) as a constituent unit having the hydrophobic functional group in the side chain, a molar ratio of the constituent unit represented by Formula (1) to the constituent unit represented by Formula (2) being from 1/100 to 100/1:

wherein in Formula (1), R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbons; X represents a divalent hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 4 carbons; Y represents a divalent linear hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 4 carbons; Z 1 represents O or NH; α and β represents a combination of a cation and an anion, and

wherein in Formula (2), R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbons, R 3 represents a hydrocarbon group having 2 or more carbons, and Z 2 represents O or NH.

4 . The laminate according to claim 3 , wherein the cation in Formula (1) is an ammonium ion.

5 . The laminate according to claim 3 , wherein the anion in Formula (1) is a phosphate ion, a sulfate ion, or a carbonate ion.

6 . The laminate according to claim 3 , wherein Formula (1) above contains a group represented by Formula (1-1), a group represented by Formula (1-2), or a group represented by Formula (1-3):

wherein in Formulas (1-1) to (1-3), X and Y are the same as described above, and a bond on the left side of a carbonyl carbon atom bonds to a carbon atom having R 1 in Formula (1); in Formula (1-1), R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are the same or different and each represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbons; in Formula (1-2) and Formula (1-3), R 8 and R 9 are the same or different and each represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbons.

7 . The laminate according to claim 3 , wherein the copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of from 20000 to 2000000.

8 . The laminate according to claim 3 , wherein the copolymer is a random copolymer of a monomer forming the constituent unit represented by Formula (1) and a monomer forming the constituent unit represented by Formula (2).

9 . The laminate according to claim 1 , wherein a surface of the porous substrate side on which the moisture-permeable membrane is provided has been subjected to a hydrophilization treatment.

10 . The laminate according to claim 1 , having a moisture permeability of 1600 g/(m 2 ·24 h) or greater based on a moisture permeability testing method according to JIS Z0208-1976 under conditions of a temperature of 20° C., a relative humidity of 65%, and a wind speed of 0.2 m/sec or less.

11 . The laminate according to claim 1 , wherein the moisture-permeable membrane surface has a structure in which a hydrophilic portion and a hydrophobic portion are phase-separated, and a maximum diameter of the hydrophilic portion on the moisture-permeable membrane surface is 50 nm or less.

12 . A partition member for total heat exchange element comprising the laminate according to claim 1 .

13 . A total heat exchange element comprising:

a plurality of the partition members for total heat exchange element according to claim 12 ; and

a spacing member arranged between each of the partition members that are laminated for total heat exchange element to maintain a space between the adjacent partition members for total heat exchange element,

wherein a first air flow path and a second air flow path are alternately formed with the partition member for total heat exchange element interposed therebetween.

14 . A ventilation device comprising the total heat exchange element according to claim 13 , wherein a supply air supplied from outdoor to indoor flows through the first air flow path of the total heat exchange element while an exhaust air exhausted from indoor to outdoor flows through the second air flow path of the total heat exchange element.
