Abstract

Provided is a unit including: a gear device including a first planetary gear mechanism including a first sun gear, a first carrier, and a first ring gear, and a second planetary gear mechanism including a second sun gear, a second carrier, and a second ring gear; an input element; an output element; a first engagement element; a second engagement element; and a third engagement element. Coupled to each other are the first sun gear with the second carrier and the second sun gear with the first carrier. The first engagement element is connected to the input element, the first sun gear, and the second carrier. The second engagement element is connected to the input element and the second ring gear. The third engagement element is connected to the second sun gear, the first carrier, and is fixed. The output element is connected to the first ring gear.

Claims (20)

1 . A unit comprising:

a gear device including a first planetary gear mechanism including a first sun gear, a first carrier, and a first ring gear, and a second planetary gear mechanism including a second sun gear, a second carrier, and a second ring gear;

an input element;

an output element;

a first engagement element;

a second engagement element; and

a third engagement element,

wherein the first sun gear and the second carrier are coupled to each other to rotate integrally,

the second sun gear and the first carrier are coupled to each other to rotate integrally,

one side of the first engagement element is connected to the input element,

the other side of the first engagement element is connected to the first sun gear and the second carrier,

one side of the second engagement element is connected to the input element,

the other side of the second engagement element is connected to the second ring gear,

one side of the third engagement element is connected to the second sun gear and the first carrier,

the other side of the third engagement element is fixed, and

the output element is connected to the first ring gear.

2 . The unit according to claim 1 , wherein each of the first engagement element and the second engagement element is disposed axially outward of the gear device, and the third engagement element is disposed radially outward of the gear device.

3 . The unit according to claim 1 , wherein three gear positions are implemented by changing two engagement elements of the first to third engagement elements to be engaged.

4 . The unit according to claim 1 , wherein the one side of the first engagement element and the one side of the second engagement element are implemented as an integrated component.

5 . The unit according to claim 1 , wherein the first carrier and the second sun gear are coupled by a member passing radially inward of the first sun gear.
