Abstract

An electronic pen is provided that is enhanced in strength such as not to be bent or broken even when made to be thinner (smaller in diametric size). A connection section holds a core body at one end thereof and holds a circuit board at the other end thereof. The circuit board is accommodated in a board protecting pipe, which is fitted to the connection section. The board protecting pipe is provided with a side opening, and an operation on an electronic part on the circuit board accommodated therein and a work on an electronic circuit formed on the circuit board can be performed through the side opening. An electronic pen main body section wherein the core body and the circuit board and the board protecting pipe are united together through the connection section is accommodated in a casing, to constitute the electronic pen.

Claims (12)

1 . An electronic pen comprising:

a housing;

a pen tip located at a tip of the electronic pen;

a pen pressure sensor;

a storage component disposed on a first side of the pen pressure sensor along a housing axis, wherein the first side is opposite a second side of the pen pressure sensor on which the pen tip is located, and wherein the storage component is a pipe-shaped member mechanically separate from an inner wall of the housing and does not store the pen pressure sensor; and

an electronic component that is stored in the storage component,

wherein the housing stores the pen pressure sensor and the storage component storing the electronic component.

2 . The electronic pen according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic component is a circuit board that is electrically connected to the pen pressure sensor.

3 . The electronic pen according to claim 2 , further comprising a connection member having a first connection part connected to the storage component and a second connection part electrically connected to the circuit board stored in the storage component.

4 . The electronic pen according to claim 1 , further comprising an electronic pen cartridge stored in the housing, wherein the electronic pen cartridge stores the pen pressure sensor and the storage component storing the electronic component.

5 . The electronic pen according to claim 1 , wherein the storage component is formed from any one of metal, carbon material, or synthetic resin.

6 . The electronic pen according to claim 1 , wherein the storage component is a pipe.
