Abstract

An example operation includes one or more of receiving, by a transport, a request, determining, by the transport, a device associated with the request, responsive to the device being unrecognized, preparing a response with a portion including faulty data based on a characteristic of the transport, sending, by the transport, the response, and responsive to receiving an acknowledgment message from the device, based on a parsing of the faulty data by the device, indicating, by the transport, the faulty data to the device.

Claims (61)

1 . A method, comprising:

responsive to a requesting device not being recognized by a transport, altering, by the transport, data of an occupant device characteristic to generate a faulty characteristic having faulty data;

sending, by the transport, a response comprising the faulty characteristic to the requesting device to cause the requesting device to generate an acknowledgment message comprising the faulty characteristic; and

performing, by the transport, a confirmation process of an identity of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message;

in response to the confirmation process confirming the identity of the requesting device, the method further comprises:

sending, by the transport, an identification of the faulty data to the requesting device to allow the requesting device to understand the faulty characteristic, and

in response to the confirmation process not confirming the identity of the requesting device, the method further comprises:

not sending, by the transport, the identification of the faulty data to the requesting device.

2 . The method of claim 1 , where the characteristic of the transport is based on one or more of a current transport occupant and an occupant device.

3 . The method of claim 1 , where the receiving the request further comprises:

receiving the request within a predetermined time window, where the predetermined time window is based on a type of the request.

4 . The method of claim 1 , where the performing the confirmation process further comprises:

identifying, by the transport, a first location of the requesting device based on the request; and

identifying, by the transport, a second location of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message, and

where the confirming the identity of the requesting device further comprises:

identifying that the first location and the second location are the same.

5 . The method of claim 1 , where the receiving the acknowledgment message further comprises:

receiving, by the transport, a plurality of acknowledgment messages within a predetermined period of time.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

identifying, by the transport, that the acknowledgment message comprises an improper indication; and

in response to identifying that the acknowledgment message comprises an improper indication, sending, by the transport, additional faulty data to the requesting device.

7 . A transport system, comprising:

a processor that, when executing instructions stored in an associated memory, is configured to:

responsive to a requesting device not being recognized by a transport, alter data of an occupant device characteristic to generate a faulty characteristic having faulty data;

send, by the transport, a response comprising the faulty characteristic to the requesting device to cause the requesting device to generate an acknowledgment message comprising the faulty characteristic; and

perform a confirmation process of an identity of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message;

in response to the confirmation process confirming the identity of the requesting device, the processor is further configured to:

send an identification of the faulty data to the requesting device to allow the requesting device to understand the faulty characteristic, and

in response to the confirmation process not confirming the identity of the requesting device, the processor is further configured to:

not send the identification of the faulty data to the requesting device.

8 . The transport of claim 7 , where the characteristic of the transport is based on one or more of a current transport occupant and an occupant device.

9 . The transport of claim 7 , where, when the processor receives the request, the processor is further configured to:

receive the request within a predetermined time window, where the predetermined time window is based on a type of the request.

10 . The transport of claim 7 , where, when the processor performs the confirmation process, the processor is further configured to:

identify a first location of the requesting device based on the request; and

identify a second location of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message, and

where, when the processor confirms the identity of the requesting device, the processor is further configured to:

identify that the first location and the second location are the same.

11 . The transport of claim 7 , where, when the processor receives the acknowledgment message, the processor is further configured to:

receive a plurality of acknowledgment messages within a predetermined period of time.

12 . The transport of claim 7 , where the processor is further configured to:

identify that the acknowledgment message comprises an improper indication; and

in response to the identification that the acknowledgment message comprises an improper indication, send additional faulty data to the requesting device.

13 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform:

responsive to a requesting device not being recognized by a transport, altering, by the transport, data of an occupant device characteristic to generate a faulty characteristic having faulty data;

sending, by the transport, a response comprising the faulty characteristic to the requesting device to cause the requesting device to generate an acknowledgment message comprising the faulty characteristic; and

performing, by the transport, a confirmation process of an identity of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message;

in response to the confirmation process confirming the identity of the requesting device, the method further comprises:

sending, by the transport, an identification of the faulty data to the requesting device to allow the requesting device to understand the faulty characteristic, and

in response to the confirmation process not confirming the identity of the requesting device, the method further comprises:

not sending, by the transport, the identification of the faulty data to the requesting device.

14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 13 , where the characteristic of the transport is based on one or more of a current transport occupant and an occupant device.

15 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 13 , where the receiving the request further comprises:

receiving the request within a predetermined time window, where the predetermined time window is based on a type of request.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 13 , where the performing the confirmation process further comprises:

identifying, by the transport, a first location of the requesting device based on the request; and

identifying, by the transport, a second location of the requesting device based on the acknowledgment message, and

where the confirming the identity of the requesting device further comprises:

identifying that the first location and the second location are the same.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 13 , where the receiving the acknowledgment message further comprises:

receiving, by the transport, a plurality of acknowledgment messages within a predetermined period of time.
