Display apparatus, background music providing method thereof and background music providing system

1 . A display apparatus comprising:

a display;

an audio output unit;

a communicator; and

a controller configured to:

control the display to display an image data included in a content,

control the audio output unit to output an audio data corresponding to a background music included in the content,

based on a function corresponding to an audio recognition being performed while the content including the image data and the audio data corresponding to the background music is being output through the display and the audio output unit, obtain a parameter corresponding to the background music through the function corresponding to the audio recognition, wherein the parameter corresponding to the background music including feature information corresponding to the audio data with respect to the background music,

transmit, through the communicator to a server, the obtained parameter corresponding to the background music through the function corresponding to the audio recognition,

receive, through the communicator from the server, information corresponding to the background music and retrieved by the server based on the parameter corresponding to the background music and obtained through the function corresponding to the background music recognition, and

control the display to output a video of the content and the retrieved information corresponding to the background music.

2 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a signal receiver including a wired communication module,

wherein the signal receiver is configured to receive the content from an external device connected via wire through the wired communication module.

3 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an input receiver that receives a user input,

wherein the controller is configured to, based on a user input for performing the function corresponding to the audio recognition being received through the input receiver, obtain a fingerprint regarding the background music included in the output content, and receive the retrieved information obtained based on the fingerprint from the server.

4 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the controller is configured to transmit the obtained fingerprint to the server through the communicator.

5 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the retrieved information includes at least one of title, singer, genre, composer, lyricist, album name, album songs, or album cover of the background music.

6 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to control the display to output a User Interface (UI) corresponding to the retrieved information on the display while the video of the content is output to the display.

7 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to receive the content through the communicator.

8 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to transmit data corresponding to the retrieved information to an external device connected wirelessly through the communicator.

9 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a signal receiver, wherein the controller is configured to receive the content through the signal receiver.

10 . A controlling method of a display apparatus including a communicator, the method comprising:

displaying an image data included in a content,

outputting an audio data corresponding to a background music included in the content,

based on a function corresponding to an audio recognition being performed while the content including the image data and the audio data corresponding to the background music is being output, obtaining a parameter corresponding to the background music through the function corresponding to the audio recognition, wherein the parameter corresponding to the background music including feature information corresponding to the audio data with respect to the background music;

transmitting, through the communicator to a server, the obtained parameter corresponding to the background music through the function corresponding to the audio recognition;

receiving, through the communicator from the server, information corresponding to the background music and retrieved by the server based on the parameter corresponding to the background music and obtained through the function corresponding to the background music recognition; and

outputting a video of the content and the retrieved information corresponding to the background music.

11 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising receiving the content from an external device connected via wire through a wired communication module included in a signal receiver of the display apparatus.

The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising, based on a user input for performing the function corresponding to the audio recognition being received, obtaining a fingerprint regarding the background music included in the output content, and wherein the receiving of the retrieved information comprises receiving the retrieved information obtained based on the fingerprint from the server.

13 . The method as claimed in claim 12 , further comprising transmitting the obtained fingerprint to the server.

14 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the retrieved information includes at least one of title, singer, genre, composer, lyricist, album name, album songs, or album cover of the background music.

15 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising outputting a User Interface (UI) corresponding to the retrieved information on the display of the display apparatus while the video of the content is output through the display.

16 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the function corresponding to the audio recognition is performed while the content is received through the communicator.

17 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising transmitting data corresponding to the retrieved information to an external device connected wirelessly through the communicator.

18 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising receiving the content through a signal receiver of the display apparatus.
