Abstract

A computer system for flood monitoring and remediation service provider notification, the computer system may include one or more processors configured to: detect a flood event in a structure, transmit information associated with the structure and a prompt for a flood remediation service quote to a machine learning (ML) chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers, receive cost estimates from the one or more remediation service providers, receive schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers, receive, from the ML chatbot, the cost estimates and the schedule availability, and communicate the cost estimates and/or the schedule availability to a user associated with the structure.

Claims (70)

1 . A computer system for flood monitoring and remediation service provider notification, the computer system comprising:

one or more processors;

a memory storing executable instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

periodically poll a weather server to request weather data,

in response to the periodic polling, receiving, from the weather server, the weather data,

receive an electrical power interruption alarm from a sensor,

detect a flood event in a structure based upon (i) the periodically received weather data, and (ii) the electrical power interruption alarm,

integrate the received weather data, electrical power interruption alarm, and information associated with the structure to generate a transmission dataset,

generate a prompt for flood remediation services, the prompt including information about the flood event,

transmit the transmission dataset and the prompt for flood remediation services to a machine learning (ML) chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to:

request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers,

receive cost estimates from the one or more remediation service providers, and

receive schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers,

receive, from the ML chatbot, the cost estimates and the schedule availability, and

communicate the cost estimates and/or the schedule availability to a user associated with the structure.

2 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to perform the detection of the flood event in the structure by receiving a signal from a water sensor.

3 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to perform the detection of the flood event in the structure by receiving a notification of an occurrence of precipitation.

4 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services causes the ML chatbot to:

request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers via telephone by converting a text output into a voice output, and

receive cost estimates and/or schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers via telephone by converting a voice input into a text input.

5 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services further causes the ML chatbot to negotiate price based upon the cost estimates.

6 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services further causes the ML chatbot to order flood remediation services from a selected one of the one or more remediation service providers.

7 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:

receive a selected remediation service provider from the user, and

transmit the selected remediation service provider and a prompt for a remediation service request to the ML chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to request a remediation service from the selected remediation service provider.

8 . A computer-implemented method for flood monitoring and remediation service provider notification, the method comprising:

periodically polling a weather server to request weather data,

in response to the periodic polling, receiving, from the weather server, the weather data,

receiving an electrical power interruption alarm from a sensor,

detecting a flood event in a structure based upon (i) the periodically received weather data, and (ii) the electrical power interruption alarm,

integrating the received weather data, electrical power interruption alarm, and information associated with the structure to generate a transmission dataset,

generating a prompt for flood remediation services, the prompt including information about the flood event,

transmitting the transmission dataset and the prompt for flood remediation services to a machine learning (ML) chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to:

request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers,

receive cost estimates from the one or more remediation service providers, and

receive schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers,

receiving, from the ML chatbot, the cost estimates and the schedule availability, and

communicating the cost estimates and/or the schedule availability to a user associated with the structure.

9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the detection of the flood event in the structure comprises receiving a signal from a water sensor.

10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services causes the ML chatbot to:

request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers via telephone by converting a text output into a voice output, and

receive cost estimates and/or schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers via telephone by converting a voice input into a text input.

11 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services further causes the ML chatbot to negotiate price based upon the cost estimates.

12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the prompt for flood remediation services further causes the ML chatbot to order flood remediation services from a selected one of the one or more remediation service providers.

13 . The computer-implemented method of claim 8 further comprising:

receiving a selected remediation service provider from the user, and

transmitting the selected remediation service provider and a prompt for a remediation service request to the ML chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to request a remediation service from the selected remediation service provider.

14 . A computer-readable storage medium storing non-transitory computer-readable instructions for flood monitoring and remediation service provider notification, wherein the instructions when executed on one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:

periodically poll a weather server to request weather data,

in response to the periodic polling, receiving, from the weather server, the weather data,

receive an electrical power interruption alarm from a sensor,

detect a flood event in a structure based upon (i) the periodically received weather data, and (ii) the electrical power interruption alarm,

integrate the received weather data, electrical power interruption alarm, and information associated with the structure to generate a transmission dataset,

generate a prompt for flood remediation services, the prompt including information about the flood event,

transmit the transmission dataset and the prompt for flood remediation services to a machine learning (ML) chatbot to cause the ML chatbot to:

request flood cleanup from one or more remediation service providers,

receive cost estimates from the one or more remediation service providers, and

receive schedule availability from the one or more remediation service providers,

receive, from the ML chatbot, the cost estimates and the schedule availability, and
