Abstract

An abnormal physical condition determination system includes: an extraction unit that extracts a plurality of feature quantities indicating a condition of a target person from an image of the target person; an accumulation unit that accumulates the plurality of feature quantities as time series data; a calculation unit that calculates a relationship between each feature quantity from the plurality of feature quantities accumulated in the accumulation unit; and a determination unit that determines an abnormal physical condition of the target person on the basis of the relationship. According to such an abnormal physical condition determination system, it is possible to appropriately determine the abnormal physical condition of the target person.

Claims (29)

1 . A system of determining an abnormal condition of a person in a vehicle comprising:

at least one memory storing instructions; and

at least one processor configured to execute instructions to:

acquire an image of the person in the vehicle, the image being captured by a camera installed in the vehicle;

extract a plurality of feature quantities indicating a condition of the person from the image, the plurality of feature quantities including a position of a face, a position of a pupil, a direction of the face and a direction of a gaze;

accumulate the plurality of feature quantities as time series data in the at least one memory;

calculate a relationship between at least one pair of the plurality of feature quantities accumulated in the at least one memory; and

determine the abnormal condition of the person on the basis of the relationship,

wherein the abnormal condition of the person includes a condition where the direction of the face and the direction of the pupil do not move in a same manner.

2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein information about instructions to the person is output by voice, in accordance with a result of the determining.

3 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the determining the abnormal condition of the person is activated in a case where behavior information about the vehicle becomes greater than or equal to a threshold.

4 . A method of determining an abnormal condition of a person in a vehicle comprising:

acquiring an image of the person in the vehicle, the image being captured by a camera installed in the vehicle;

extracting a plurality of feature quantities indicating a condition of the person from the image, the plurality of feature quantities including a position of a face, a position of a pupil, a direction of the face and a direction of a gaze;

accumulating the plurality of feature quantities as time series data in a memory;

calculating a relationship between at least one pair of the plurality of feature quantities accumulated in the memory; and

determining the abnormal condition of the person on the basis of the relationship, wherein

the abnormal condition of the person includes a condition where the direction of the face and the direction of the pupil do not move in a same manner.

5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein information about instructions to the person is output by voice, in accordance with a result of the determining.

6 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the determining the abnormal condition of the person is activated in a case where behavior information about the vehicle becomes greater than or equal to a threshold.

7 . A non-transitory recording medium storing a computer program executable by a computer to perform a method of determining an abnormal condition of a person in a vehicle comprising:

acquiring an image of the person in the vehicle, the image being captured by a camera installed in the vehicle;

extracting a plurality of feature quantities indicating a condition of the person from the image, the plurality of feature quantities including a position of a face, a position of a pupil, a direction of the face and a direction of a gaze;

accumulating the plurality of feature quantities as time series data in a memory;

calculating a relationship between at least one pair of the plurality of feature quantities accumulated in the memory; and

determining the abnormal condition of the person on the basis of the relationship, wherein

the abnormal condition of the person includes a condition where the direction of the face and the direction of the pupil do not move in a same manner.

8 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 7 , wherein information about instructions to the person is output by voice, in accordance with a result of the determining.

9 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 7 , wherein the determining the abnormal condition of the person is activated in a case where behavior information about the vehicle becomes greater than or equal to a threshold.
