Pedal unit and electronic keyboard apparatus
A pedal unit according to an embodiment includes a first foot lever, a shaft serving as a center of rotation of the first foot lever, and a bearing paired with the shaft. The shaft or the bearing includes a first member arranged on at least a portion of surfaces in contact with each other, and a second member formed of a material different from the first member and supporting the first member from a side opposite the surfaces. The surfaces are included in an inner area of a width of the first foot lever when the first foot lever is viewed perpendicular to the shaft. The first member and the second member are fixed in a sliding direction of the shaft and the bearing.
1 . A pedal unit for an electronic musical instrument, the pedal unit comprising:
a first foot lever;
a first shaft serving as a first center of rotation of the first foot lever; and
a first bearing rotatably supporting the first shaft,
wherein the first bearing includes:
a first member arranged in contact with the first shaft; and
a second member formed of a material different from the first member and supporting the first member from a side opposite the first shaft,
wherein the first member and the second member are fixed in a sliding direction of the first shaft, and
wherein the first member is sandwiched between the first shaft and the second member.
2 . The pedal unit according to claim 1 , further comprising an elastic member configured to increase a force between the first shaft and the first bearing as a force for rotating the first foot lever is applied to the first foot lever.
3 . The pedal unit according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a second foot lever;
a second shaft serving as a second center of rotation of the second foot lever; and
a second bearing rotatably supporting the second shaft,
wherein a first distance from the first center of rotation to a first position where the first shaft and the first bearing contact each other for the first foot lever is different from a second distance from the second center of rotation to a second position where the second shaft and the second bearing contact each other for the second foot lever.
4 . The pedal unit according to claim 3 , further comprising:
a third foot lever;
a third shaft serving as a third center of rotation of the third foot lever; and
a third bearing rotatably supporting the third shaft,
wherein the first foot lever, the second foot lever, and the third foot lever are arranged in order from right to left as viewed from a player's perspective, and
wherein a third distance from the third center of rotation to a third position where the third shaft and the third bearing contact each other for the third foot lever is greater than either the first distance or the second distance.
5 . The pedal unit according to claim 1 , wherein:
the first shaft and the first bearing are in contact with each other in at least a first area and a second area,
the first and second areas are arranged spaced apart from each other, and
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the first bearing between the first and second areas are separated from each other.
6 . The pedal unit according to claim 5 , wherein:
a first position is between the first area and the second area and separated from both the first area and the second area,
a second position is between the first position and the first area,
a third position is between the first position and the second area, and
a first separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the first position is shorter than a second separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the second position and a third separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the third position.
7 . The pedal unit according to any of claim 1 , wherein:
the first bearing comprises a pair of bearings, and
the first shaft is sandwiched between the pair of bearings, in a state where the pair of bearings are subjected to opposing forces in a direction approaching each other.
8 . The pedal unit according to claim 7 , wherein:
the first shaft is in contact with one of the pair of bearings at least in a first area and in a second area,
the first and second areas are arranged spaced apart from each other,
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the one of the pair of bearings between the first and second areas are separated from each other,
the first shaft is in contact with the other of the pair of bearings at least in a third area and a fourth area,
the third and fourth areas are arranged spaced apart from each other, and
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the other of the pair of bearings between the third and fourth areas are separated from each other.
9 . An electronic keyboard device comprising:
the pedal unit according to claim 1 , and
a keyboard unit including a plurality of keys, and
a sound source unit configured to generate a sound signal in response to an operation on any of the plurality of keys and an operation on the first foot lever in the pedal unit.
10 . A pedal unit for an electronic musical instrument, the pedal unit comprising:
a first foot lever;
a first shaft serving as a first center of rotation of the first foot lever;
a first bearing rotatably supporting the first shaft; and
a second bearing rotatably supporting the first shaft, which is arranged under the first foot lever,
wherein the first shaft includes an interlocking portion that extends to an outer area outside a width of the first foot lever, the width extending parallel with a longitudinal direction of the first shaft, and
wherein the first bearing includes a portion sliding with the first shaft in the outer area as the first foot lever is rotated.
11 . The pedal unit according to claim 10 , further comprising an elastic member configured to increase a force between the first shaft and the first bearing as a force for rotating the first foot lever is applied to the first foot lever.
12 . The pedal unit according to claim 10 , further comprising:
a second foot lever;
a second shaft serving as a second center of rotation of the second foot lever; and
a third bearing rotatably supporting the second shaft,
wherein a first distance from the first center of rotation to a first position where the first shaft and the first bearing contact each other for the first foot lever is different from a second distance from the second center of rotation to a second position where the second shaft and the third bearing contact each other for the second foot lever.
13 . The pedal unit according to claim 12 , further comprising:
a third foot lever;
a third shaft serving as a third center of rotation of the third foot lever; and
a fourth bearing rotatably supporting the third shaft,
wherein the first foot lever, the second foot lever, and the third foot lever are arranged in order from right to left as viewed from a player's perspective, and
wherein a third distance from the third center of rotation to a third position where the third shaft and the fourth bearing contact each other for the third foot lever is greater than either the first distance or the second distance.
14 . The pedal unit according to claim 10 , wherein:
the first shaft and the first bearing are in contact with each other in at least a first area and a second area,
the first and second areas are arranged spaced apart from each other; and
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the first bearing between the first and second areas are separated from each other.
15 . The pedal unit according to claim 14 , wherein:
a first position is between the first area and the second area and separated from both the first area and the second area,
a second position is between the first position and the first area,
a third position is between the first position and the second area, and
a first separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the first position is shorter than a second separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the second position and a third separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the third position.
16 . The pedal unit according to any of claim 10 , wherein:
the first bearing comprises a pair of bearings, and
the first shaft is sandwiched between the pair of bearings, in a state where the pair of bearings are subjected to opposing forces in a direction approaching each other.
17 . The pedal unit according to claim 16 , wherein:
the first shaft is in contact with one of the pair of bearings at least in a first area and in a second area,
the first and second areas are arranged spaced apart from each other,
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the one of the pair of bearings between the first and second areas are separated from each other,
the first shaft is in contact with the other of the pair of bearings at least in a third area and a fourth area,
the third and fourth areas are arranged spaced apart from each other, and
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the other of the pair of bearings between the third and fourth areas are separated from each other.
18 . A pedal unit for an electronic musical instrument, the pedal unit comprising:
a first foot lever;
a first shaft serving as a first center of rotation of the first foot lever; and
a first bearing rotatably supporting the first shaft,
wherein the first shaft and the first bearing are in contact at least in a first area and a second area,
wherein the first and second areas are arranged spaced apart from each other; and
wherein a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the first bearing between the first and second areas are separated from each other.
19 . The pedal unit according to claim 18 , further comprising an elastic member configured to increase a force between the first shaft and the first bearing as a force for rotating the first foot lever is applied to the first foot lever.
20 . The pedal unit according to claim 18 , further comprising:
a second foot lever;
a second shaft serving as a second center of rotation of the second foot lever; and
a second bearing rotatably supporting the second shaft,
wherein a first distance from the first center of rotation to a first position where the first shaft and the first bearing contact each other is different from a second distance from the second center of rotation to a second position where the second shaft and the second bearing contact each other for the second foot lever.
21 . The pedal unit according to claim 20 , further comprising:
a third foot lever;
a third shaft serving as a third center of rotation of the third foot lever; and
a third bearing rotatably supporting the third shaft,
wherein the first foot lever, the second foot lever, and the third foot lever are arranged in order from right to left as viewed from a player's perspective, and
wherein a third distance from the third center of rotation to a third position where the third shaft and the third bearing contact each other for the third foot lever is greater than either the first distance or the second distance.
22 . The pedal unit according to claim 18 , wherein:
a first position is between the first area and the second area and separated from both the first area and the second area,
a second position is between the first position and the first area,
a third position is between the first position and the second area, and
a first separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the first position is shorter than a second separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the second position and a third separation distance from the first shaft to the first bearing in the third position.
23 . The pedal unit according to any of claim 18 , wherein:
the first bearing comprises a pair of bearings, and
the first shaft is sandwiched between the pair of bearings, in a state where the pair of bearings are subjected to opposing forces in a direction approaching each other.
24 . The pedal unit according to claim 23 , wherein:
the first shaft is in contact with one of the pair of bearings at least in the first area and in the second area,
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the one of the pair of bearings between the first and second areas are separated from each other,
the first shaft is in contact with the other of the pair of bearings at least in a third area and a fourth area,
the third and fourth areas are arranged spaced apart from each other, and
a portion of the first shaft and a portion of the other of the pair of bearings between the third and fourth areas are separated from each other.
