Abstract

In one aspect, a channel state information reporting method includes: receiving configuration information; receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) according to the configuration information; and reporting channel state information (CSI) according to the CSI-RS, the CSI including a precoding matrix indicator for indicating a precoding matrix, where the precoding matrix is determined according to set vectors, the set vectors includes a first group of vectors, the first group of vectors includes L first vectors, each first vector of the L first vectors corresponds to a port of the CSI-RS, and L is a positive integer.

Claims (36)

1 . A channel state information reporting method, comprising:

receiving configuration information;

receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) according to the configuration information; and

reporting channel state information (CSI) according to the CSI-RS, the CSI comprising a precoding matrix indicator for indicating a precoding matrix, wherein the precoding matrix is determined according to set vectors, the set vectors comprises a first group of vectors, the first group of vectors comprises L first vectors, each first vector of the L first vectors corresponds to a port of the CSI-RS, and L is a positive integer;

wherein the set vectors further comprises a second group of vectors, the second group of vectors comprises M v second vectors, each element in each second vector of the M v second vectors corresponds to a precoding matrix, and M v is a positive integer, the method further comprising:

determining whether to report bit mapping information according to M v and K NZ ;

wherein the bit mapping information is used to indicate, in a non-zero bit, reported coefficients in first coefficients, the first coefficients comprise coefficients used to combine the set vectors as a precoding matrix;

wherein K NZ is a number of coefficients reported to a network.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

determining whether to report the bit mapping information according to a rank of the precoding matrix.

3 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

determining a number of reported coefficients in the first coefficients according to a rank of the precoding matrix and M v .

4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the configuration information comprises a CSI-RS resource, and a number of antenna ports of the CSI-RS resource is P;

the method further comprises: selecting 2L antenna ports from P antenna ports and reporting the 2L antenna ports;

the 2L antenna ports are mapped to L first vectors.

5 . A channel state information receiving method, comprising:

transmitting configuration information;

transmitting a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) according to the configuration information; and

receiving channel state information (CSI), the CSI comprising a precoding matrix indicator for indicating a precoding matrix, wherein the precoding matrix is determined according to set vectors, the set vectors comprises a first group of vectors, the first group of vectors comprises L first vectors, each first vector of the L first vectors corresponds to a port of the CSI-RS, and L is a positive integer;

wherein the set vectors further comprises a second group of vectors, the second group of vectors comprises M v second vectors, each element in each second vector of the M v second vectors corresponds to a precoding matrix, and M v is a positive integer.

6 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the set vectors further comprises a second group of vectors, the second group of vectors comprises M v second vectors, each element in each second vector of the M v second vectors corresponds to a precoding matrix, and M v is a positive integer,

for first coefficients forming one layer of the precoding matrix, a number of reported coefficients does not exceed K 0 ;

for first coefficients forming each layer of the precoding matrix, a number of reported coefficients does not exceed 2 K 0 ;

where K 0 =┌2LM v β┐, β is a positive number less than or equal to 1.

7 . A communication node, comprising a memory, a processor, and a computer program stored on the memory and runnable on the processor, wherein the processor, upon performing the program, implements the following steps:

receiving configuration information;

receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) according to the configuration information; and

reporting channel state information (CSI) according to the CSI-RS, the CSI comprising a precoding matrix indicator for indicating a precoding matrix, wherein the precoding matrix is determined according to set vectors, the set vectors comprises a first group of vectors, the first group of vectors comprises L first vectors, each first vector of the L first vectors corresponds to a port of the CSI-RS, and L is a positive integer;

wherein the set vectors further comprises a second group of vectors, the second group of vectors comprises M v second vectors, each element in each second vector of the M v second vectors corresponds to a precoding matrix, and M v is a positive integer, the steps further comprising:

determining whether to report bit mapping information according to M v and K NZ ;

wherein the bit mapping information is used to indicate, in a non-zero bit, reported coefficients in first coefficients, the first coefficients comprise coefficients used to combine the set vectors as a precoding matrix;

wherein K NZ is a number of coefficients reported to a network.

8 . The communication node according to claim 7 , further comprising:

determining whether to report the bit mapping information according to a rank of the precoding matrix.

9 . The communication node according to claim 7 , further comprising:

determining a number of reported coefficients in the first coefficients according to a rank of the precoding matrix and M v .
