Abstract

A wireless device comprises one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to receive a semi-persistent (SP) channel state information (CSI) activation/deactivation medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), receive downlink control information (DCI) for bandwidth part (BWP) switching, and transmit SP CSI report based on the SP CSI activation/deactivation MAC CE and the DCI for BWP switching. The DCI for BWP switching is received by the wireless device after the SP CSI activation/deactivation MAC CE is received by the wireless device.

Claims (41)

1 . A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive a semi-persistent (SP) channel state information (CSI) activation/deactivation medium access control (MAC) control element (CE);

receive downlink control information (DCI) for bandwidth part (BWP) switching; and

transmit SP CSI report based on the SP CSI activation/deactivation MAC CE and the DCI for BWP switching, wherein the DCI for BWP switching is received by the wireless device after the SP CSI activation/deactivation MAC CE is received by the wireless device.

2 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to receive, via a radio resource control (RRC) message, a CSI reporting setting for the SP CSI report, the CSI reporting setting comprising:

a report configuration identifier;

a report type indicator indicating a SP report type; and

a periodicity parameter indicating a periodicity.

3 . The wireless device of claim 2 , wherein the MAC CE comprises:

a BWP indicator indicating a BWP reporting of the SP CSI report is triggered on; and

a one-bit CSI activation/deactivation bit for indicating activation/deactivation of reporting of the SP CSI report.

4 . The wireless device of claim 3 , wherein the MAC CE comprises a parameter indicating a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for the SP CSI report.

5 . The wireless device of claim 4 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to stop the transmitting of the SP CSI report based on receiving a second DCI for BWP switching.

6 . The wireless device of claim 5 , wherein:

the DCI for BWP switching is for switching to a first BWP, of a cell, as an active BWP; and

the second DCI for BWP switching is for switching to a second BWP, of the cell, as the active BWP.

7 . The wireless device of claim 4 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to stop the transmitting of the SP CSI report based on receiving a second DCI for BWP switching and before receiving any second MAC CE for deactivating the SP CSI report.

8 . The wireless device of claim 4 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to receive, after the DCI for BWP switching, a second DCI for BWP switching that does not deactivate reporting of the SP CSI report.

9 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the DCI switches both a downlink (DL) and an uplink (UL) BWP based on an association between the DL and UL BWP that allows one activation/deactivation command to switch both the DL and the UL BWPs.

10 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the DCI switches one of a downlink (DL) or an uplink (UL) BWP.

11 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the MAC CE comprises:

a BWP indicator indicating a BWP reporting of the SP CSI report is triggered on; and

a one-bit CSI activation/deactivation bit for indicating activation/deactivation of reporting of the SP CSI report.

12 . The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the MAC CE comprises a parameter indicating a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for the SP CSI report.

13 . The wireless device of claim 12 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to receive, via a radio resource control (RRC) message, a CSI reporting setting for the SP CSI report, the CSI reporting setting comprising:

a report configuration identifier;

a report type indicator indicating a SP report type; and

a periodicity parameter indicating a periodicity.

14 . The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the instructions cause the wireless device to stop the transmitting of the SP CSI report based on receiving a second DCI for BWP switching.

15 . The wireless device of claim 14 , wherein:

the DCI for BWP switching is for switching to a first BWP, of a cell, as an active BWP; and

the second DCI for BWP switching is for switching to a second BWP, of the cell, as the active BWP.

16 . The wireless device of claim 15 , wherein the transmitting of the SP CSI report is stopped before receiving any second MAC CE for deactivating the SP CSI report.

17 . The wireless device of claim 16 , wherein the second DCI for BWP switching does not deactivate reporting of the SP CSI report.

18 . The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the DCI switches both a downlink (DL) and an uplink (UL) BWP based on an association between the DL and UL BWP that allows one activation/deactivation command to switch both the DL and the UL BWPs.

19 . The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the DCI switches one of a downlink (DL) or an uplink (UL) BWP.

20 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the MAC CE comprises:

a parameter indicating a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for the SP CSI report; and

a one-bit CSI activation/deactivation bit for indicating activation/deactivation of reporting of the SP CSI report.
