Abstract

An organic light emitting display device is disclosed, which comprises an anode electrode provided in a light emitting area on a substrate having a plurality of pixels, each pixel including a light emitting area and a transmissive area; an organic light emitting layer on the anode electrode; a cathode electrode on the organic light emitting layer; an auxiliary electrode connected with the cathode electrode; and a connection electrode connected with the anode electrode and provided in the transmissive area of the substrate.

Claims (24)

1 . An organic light emitting display device comprising:

a substrate including a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising a light emitting area including a plurality of sub pixels and a non-light emitting area including a transmissive area;

an anode electrode in the light emitting area;

an organic light emitting layer on the anode electrode;

a cathode electrode on the organic light emitting layer; and

a connection electrode connected with the anode electrode, the connection electrode provided in the non-light emitting area,

wherein the connection electrode extends along one side of the transmissive area and comprises a transparent conductive material.

2 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the connection electrode overlaps an adjacent anode electrode of a corresponding one of the plurality of sub pixels.

3 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the cathode electrode is in the light emitting area, the transmissive area, and an area between transmissive areas.

4 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 2 , wherein the anode electrode includes a first anode electrode and a second anode electrode, and the connection electrode is on a same layer as the first anode electrode.

5 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 4 , wherein the second anode electrode is connected with the first anode electrode through a contact hole.

6 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 4 , wherein, when the anode electrode of a specific sub pixel from the plurality of sub pixels has a defect, the connection electrode of the specific sub pixel and an adjacent anode electrode of the corresponding one of sub pixels are welded by a laser.

7 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , further comprising:

an auxiliary electrode connected with the cathode electrode.

8 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 7 , wherein the auxiliary electrode is in the light emitting area.

9 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 7 , wherein the auxiliary electrode is overlapped with the anode electrode.

10 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 7 , wherein the auxiliary electrode includes a lower auxiliary electrode, an upper auxiliary electrode, and a cover auxiliary electrode.

11 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein the cover auxiliary electrode covers an upper surface and a side of the upper auxiliary electrode.

12 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 7 , wherein a width of the auxiliary electrode is greater than a width of the anode electrode.

13 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of sub pixels is comprised of sub pixels that emit red light, white light, blue light, and green light, and the sub pixels are arranged in a first direction.

14 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 2 , wherein the corresponding one of the plurality of sub pixels is a sub pixel that emits the same light.

15 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the light emitting area and the transmissive area have different areas.

16 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the transmissive area has an area that is larger than an area of the light emitting area.

17 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein a width of the cathode electrode is greater than a width of the connection electrode.
