Composition for caring for a keratin material

1 . A composition for caring for a keratin material comprising:

a) from 0.01 wt. % to 20 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition of an acetylated hyaluronic acid salt; and

b) from 40 wt. % to 95 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition of propylene glycol,

wherein the composition is anhydrous and transparent.

2 . The composition according to claim 1 , wherein the salt of acetylated hyaluronic acid is selected from acetylated sodium hyaluronate, acetylated potassium hyaluronate, and a mixture thereof.

3 . The composition according to claim 1 , wherein the acetylated hyaluronic acid salt has an acetylation degree of from 0.5 to 1.

4 . The composition according to claim 1 , wherein the acetylated hyaluronic acid salt has a weight average molecular weight of from 1,000 Da to 100,000 Da as determined by liquid chromatography method.

5 . The composition according to claim 1 , wherein the acetylated hyaluronic acid salt is present in an amount ranging from 0.3 wt. % to 5 wt. % relative to the total weight of the composition.

6 . The composition according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one cationic surfactant.

7 . The composition according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one cationic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of cetrimonium chloride, behentrimonium chloride, behentrimonium methosulfate, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, and a mixture thereof.

8 . The composition according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one cationic surfactant is present in an amount ranging from 0.1 wt. % to 5 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.

9 . A hair conditioner or a skincare product, comprising the composition according to claim 1 .

10 . A non-therapeutic process for caring for a keratin material comprising applying a composition as defined in claim 1 onto said keratin material.

11 . The process according to claim 10 , wherein the keratin material is skin or hair.
