Abstract

A conveyance device includes a pair of rails that conveys and positions a conveyance target object; a lifting and lowering section configured to lift and lower a pressing member; a moving section configured to move the pressing member in the extending direction of the pair of rails; a clamp section configured to clamp the conveyance target object against the pair of rails; and a control section configured to control the lifting and lowering section and the moving section such that the pressing member is lowered and the attraction portion of the pressing member is attracted and the conveyance target object is conveyed to the predetermined position, and after controlling the clamp section, control the lifting and lowering section and the moving section such that the pressing member is retracted from the conveyance target object.

Claims (17)

1 . A conveyance device comprising a pair of rails extending parallel to each other in a horizontal direction, the conveyance device being for conveying a conveyance target object used in a production line on the pair of rails, and positioning the conveyance target object at a predetermined position, the conveyance device comprising:

a pressing member having an attraction portion configured to attract an attraction target portion of the conveyance target object on a surface orthogonal to an extending direction of the rails;

a lifting and lowering section configured to lift and lower the pressing member;

a moving section configured to move the pressing member in the extending direction of the pair of rails;

a clamp section configured to clamp the conveyance target object on the pair of rails against the pair of rails; and

a control section configured to

control the lifting and lowering section and the moving section such that the pressing member is lowered and the attraction portion of the pressing member is attracted to the attraction target portion of the conveyance target object,

control the moving section such that the conveyance target object is conveyed to the predetermined position, and after controlling the clamp section such that the conveyance target object is clamped at the predetermined position, and

control the lifting and lowering section and the moving section such that the pressing member is retracted from the conveyance target object,

wherein the attraction portion of the pressing member is a first one of a magnet and a magnetic body, and

the attraction target portion of the conveyance target object is a second one of the magnet and the magnetic body.

2 . The conveyance device according to claim 1 ,

wherein the conveyance target object includes a roller rolling on the rails.

3 . A conveyance method for conveying a conveyance target object used in a production line on a pair of rails and position the conveyance target object at a predetermined position using the pair of rails extending parallel to each other in a horizontal direction and a pressing member, the conveyance method comprising:

attracting the pressing member to the conveyance target object on a surface orthogonal to an extending direction of the rails, the pressing member including an attraction portion that is a first one of a magnet and a magnetic body, and the conveyance target object includes an attraction target portion that is a second one of the magnet and the magnetic body;

conveying the conveyance target object to the predetermined position by moving the pressing member in the extending direction of the rails; and

retracting the pressing member from the conveyance target object after clamping the conveyance target object at the predetermined position.
