Abstract

An electrified vehicle includes a first battery, a driving unit, and an auxiliary battery configured to be capable of supplying power to the driving unit. The first battery mounted on electrified vehicle can be replaced with a second battery by a battery replacement station provided outside electrified vehicle. Electrified vehicle supplies electric power from the auxiliary battery to the driving unit, thereby enabling the driving unit to be driven.

Claims (19)

1 . An electrified vehicle comprising:

a first battery mounted in the electrified vehicle, the first battery being replaceable with a second battery at a battery replacement station provided outside the electrified vehicle;

a driving unit including a motor and an inverter, the driving unit being configured to drive the electrified vehicle by using electric power supplied from the first battery or the second battery;

an auxiliary battery configured to supply electric power to an auxiliary device mounted in the electrified vehicle;

a converter configured to boost a current supplied from the auxiliary battery to the driving unit;

a switching device configured to switch electrical connection between the first battery or the second battery and the driving unit;

a relay provided between the converter and a wire connecting the switching device and the driving unit; and

a processor configured to, in a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied, cause the switching device to disconnect the electrical connection and cause the relay to connect the converter and the wire such that the current boosted by the converter is supplied to the driving unit.

2 . The electrified vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising:

an input device that is operated by a user,

wherein the predetermined condition is that the processor determines that an input indicating a start of moving of the electrified vehicle is input by the user to the input device during a period from a start of replacement of the first battery to an end of the replacement at the battery replacement station.

3 . The electrified vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein:

the input device includes a display and a user input interface that is operated by the user; and

in a case where the processor determines that there is abnormality in the second battery after the battery replacement station performs the replacement, the processor is configured to cause the display to display first inquiry indication for inquiring to the user about whether to start moving.

4 . The electrified vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein:

the input device includes a display and a user input interface that is operated by the user; and

in a case where the processor receives a system abnormality signal from the battery replacement station, the processor is configured to cause the display to display second inquiry indication for inquiring to the user about whether to start moving.

5 . The electrified vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the auxiliary device includes a human machine interface device.

6 . The electrified vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the wire is configured to connect the switching device and the inverter.
